Another tax year done, another year my loan grows. Despite working more than full time as a doctor in my third year of practice my salary repayments don’t even cover the interest on my loan. What a farce of a system.

Those yellow ticket items nearing their sell-by date in the supermarket used to be bargains. Now they’re rarely more than 20% off. It seems supermarkets would rather bin things than let customers pick them up for a few pennies. Where’s the sense?

When you buy a car you pay a 20% sales tax

Then you have to pay a yearly tax to access the roads of up to £5,490.00 for large/performance cars
Then you pay 59% fuel duty & & 20% VAT on petrol to move the car

Then you pay £300 to £1,100+ to insure the car

After 3 years every UK car needs a test (tax) to ensure it’s ‘roadworthy’. £54+ And NOW the govt. want to tax you a ‘pay per mile’ tax
(AND texting electric cars which they promised us they’d never do)

And the roads are covered in potholes & crumbling away like the whole of the U.K.
Is this the biggest scam no one seems to be talking about?

I seriously cannot believe people aren’t buying as much Bitcoin as possible at $67,000. How much lower do you think it can go? Fair value vs gold is already over $180,000 — we’ve never been so undervalued compared to precious metals. Saylor knows it more than anyone. Patience.

Last year I put all my bonus into my SIPP but this year I thought, just take the cash and buy a watch. But it’s really not worth it. It’s kinda like I’m receiving my bonus but forfeiting a months pay in exchange! I’m 🤏🏾 close to packing up and leaving for Dubai!

Next Friday is annual bonus payday💰 Including my monthly salary, I should be paid around £27,000 but after taxes and deductions, it’s likely I’ll only receive approx £15,000! This tax system is extremely depressing and counterproductive! This is disincentivising hard work!

@BerthaBuilder @JKRInvesting @BladeoftheS Why don’t you set up a non-profit supermarket? You’d corner the market! I have every faith Bertha in your entrepreneurial skill as clearly demonstrated by your analysis here.

@JKRInvesting @BladeoftheS Funny how risk is always cited when defending profit, but never when discussing stagnant wages, food inflation, or frontline conditions. Risk is socialised downward. Returns flow upward.

Tesco makes nearly £4bn profit. Nearly 50% of its workforce are on Universal Credit, receiving about £600m a year. Why isn't Tesco paying?

@Investmentkage I’ve made over $100k on a few Bitcoin over the last 3 years but it’s not really an asset. It’s a store of value… and it can go away at some point.

The average UK pension pot is £32,700. A comfortable retirement needs £43,900 per year. How confident are you in your retirement plan? 🟢 Very - I'm well ahead 🟡 Somewhat - could be better 🔴 Not at all - need to start ⚫ What retirement plan?
