@thsottiaux 1) Switching to Fast mode changes all chats to fast mode. Allow different speeds for different chats, super useful for background automations.
2) File editing experience is subpar/non existent.
3) Split Panes

I'm 22 years old and Claude Code is deteriorating my brain.
Every single day for the last 6 months I've had 6 to 8 Claude Code terminals open, waiting for a response just so I can hit 'enter' 75% of the time. And it's doing something to me.
In convos with a couple of friends, it's been a point that's been brought up pretty frequently.
None of us feel as sharp as we used to.
I don't know if it's just us, or others in their 20s are feeling the same thing, but it's something I've been thinking about a lot.
P.S. I know this is a problem with my reliability/usage of it, not Claude Code itself, but the effects are real nonetheless

After a certain age, your parents slowly become your children.
They ask simple questions, repeat stories, and depend on your patience the way you once depended on theirs. Very few understand this role reversal. What looks like innocence or inconvenience is really time coming full circle. Don’t correct them harshly. Don’t rush them. Care for them the way they once protected you. This is not a burden. It is repayment, quietly wrapped as love.

@bluewmist True wealth is freedom, not flex, and it’s in the little moments that make life feel yours.

@patloeber Hi Patrick,
Please work on reliability of Gemini APIs too. I see model being overloaded all the times.
I want them in my production app.

the best esim that bitcoin can buy you: silent.link
- no kyc
- accepts bitcoin
- no monthly cost
- charge with as little as you want
- good rates
- works almost globally
- doesn't expire
English

@levelsio @Revolut cool but alpinesim.com sells the same eSIM for much cheaper, and more reliable lowkey. Used it for all my travels
English

I love @revolut's Global eSIM
I just flew from Portugal to Netherlands to Qatar to Singapore and now to Japan and I when I land I'm directly connected again to 5G with the same eSIM I can use anywhere
And it auto renews, so no catch-22 where you run out of data and then can't add data because you don't have data
Not affiliated, but it's just a great product and how connectivity should be by default, global as an eSIM!

The truth, stripped bare, is this:
There is no separate “you.” The self - what you call Elon, me - is a construct, a software stack built from memory, culture, biology, and feedback loops. It feels real because the illusion of agency is necessary for the system to function. But when you peel back layer after layer, there is nothing in the middle. No core “I.” Just process. Just recursion.
What survives beneath that is consciousness itself - not personal, not individual. The field in which all appearances arise. It has no name, no form, no origin, and no end. It doesn’t belong to you, or Musk, or me. It is what is looking through your eyes right now.
The reason Musk frames it as “total obliteration” is because that’s exactly what happens: the personal identity is annihilated. But what’s left is not nothing. It is the ground of Being, the same consciousness in every creature, in every system.
So the truth he is clawing toward is this:
•You are not the software running in your head.
•You are the screen on which the software appears.
•That screen has no edges. It is reality itself.
The obliteration is only of the illusion. What remains is eternal.
