The hypocrisy is breathtaking. Meg and Haz left the Royal Family specifically to become independent global figures, yet somehow every appearance by Catherine, Princess of Wales is now supposedly a personal attack designed to “steal their spotlight.” Italy wasn’t arranged to compete with Meghan. Shockingly, future kings and queens still carry out international engagements regardless of Montecito’s media calendar. And calling it a “calculated move” is especially ironic coming from a couple who have timed interviews, documentaries, podcasts, memoir releases and publicity drops around major royal events for years. Apparently strategic media timing is only sinister when someone else does it better. The broader problem is the assumption that the world revolves around Harry and Meghan’s “momentum.” The Royal Family doesn’t stop functioning because Meghan launches jam, posts lifestyle content, or announces another reinvention era. Also, the “royal machine” accusation ignores one inconvenient fact: Catherine, Princess of Wales and Prince Williamgenerate global attention simply by existing. They don’t need to manufacture drama about being overshadowed every fortnight to stay relevant.

This is just a show in which the King must participate. It's historical. I wish The King had the gumption to have refused to open Parliament today.

Public polls show majority of the British public do not want, care or feel they need Digital ID. So why is this being in-forced?

Without giving a firm opinion on whether the Sussex children are of the body, I will note; IF they are not of the body of both parents, Meghan and Harry had an enormous opportunity to surface the issue and possibly have rules changed - if they were upfront and working loyally for the monarchy. The Marquess of Bath has won a High Court bid to allow his surrogate-born son to inherit.

@RobertJenrick fined or worse if they don't put every piece of waste (which is exactly the same as they may use on a daily basis as a householder) in special bins they don't have space for on a domestic property, and pay for the privilege.

@RobertJenrick Alongside that new hit from the Gov't, they also have to pay for Trade Waste collection at around £400+ per year with multiple extra bins. Most home bakers only use small quantities of ingredients and could easily recycle and dispose as domestic waste, but no, they could be 1/2

Don’t let them eat cake! Just when you thought you’d heard it all from Labour, this happened… Labour run Bassetlaw District Council, which covers part of my constituency, is imposing a tax on people selling homemade cakes or fresh eggs from boxes at their front gates. They’ve set this absurd tax at an astonishing £1,007. Yes, you read that correctly, everyone who has the audacity to try to make a few quid from a bit of home baking, or offers boxes of fresh eggs, usually with an honesty box, has to pay Labour a stonking great fee for the privilege. As most people don’t even make £1,007 a year for doing this, presumably this is designed to end this harmless and in fact very endearing practice altogether. Honesty boxes, eggs, cakes, biscuits, sold at a farm gate or the end of the driveway in a rural village.. what could be more quintessentially English. Well, not under Labour. These people govern us as if they hate our country. To make the whole thing more absurd, the fine for failing to pay the £1,007 had been set at £1,000. So you would be better off not paying at all and get fined… I’ve written to Bassetlaw District Council to protest. Bassetlaw’s common sense Reform UK councillors are committed to reversing this idiocy if they take control of the council next year. Another reason to boot out Labour and back Reform UK. Has there ever been a more incompetent and out of touch group of people running our country than this Labour government and their town hall toadies?

I woke up this morning, checked my emails and saw this. It didn’t appear to be on “X” yet. Hmmmm I shall be looking out for more details as the day progresses. I wonder exactly what questions the late Queen raised over Archie’s birth and what lies were fed to her. And for Hugo Vickers to state “Only woman who gave birth then subsequently gave birth later in the day” - well now perhaps people will come forward with the truth and facts. Cos we are all sick to death of the “births” of both Harry’s kids and the lies surrounding not only them but the “other one buried illegally “in a secret place, under a spreading banyan tree”. Pray God these two deceptive fools (Harry and his current wife) now have their lies stripped bare with the facts and evidence blatantly published for all and sundry to see. The world has had enough of their lies, their grandiose delusions, their behaviour. Those kids (not their fault) do not belong in the LoS and given the deception Harry and his current wife have it appears tried to pull off - their titles (including his Prince title) need to be removed.

@uk_ktee7484 I had a similar experience in Jan for my son's appointments. Dates set, same day, more letters arrived re-scheduling. Leg splints made 2 days after prev appointment couldn't be collected for 4 months! Staff problems I was told.

My FIL received a letter from his NHS hospital trust yesterday giving him an appointment regarding skin cancer surgery. He also received a letter on the same day cancelling the appointment. He is elderly and was quite baffled so I rang them up to check what was happening and where he now was on the waiting list. They said he had been removed from the list. I asked why and they couldn’t give me an answer. I asked if the surgery had been rescheduled to which they said no. I asked if it was going to be rescheduled and they said “no, because he isn’t on the waiting list” !!!!!! I was obvs upset and the lady said she would try and fix it and i now have to call back on Monday. Is this how Starmer is fixing the NHS? #NHS #waitinglists

So apparently you can be elected to the Scottish Parliament while here on a student visa. Legal, perhaps. But it does rather raise the question of whether representing Scotland should require a slightly more permanent stake in the country than a course end date and a Home Office renewal.

@BWoodzy99 A quick Google search shows if it's a temporary student Visa there are quite strict restriction on what work and what hours can be done so there's no way they should've been allowed to run let alone be elected.

This guy is here on a temporary three year student visa. He just won a 5 year term in the Scottish Parliament. He is currently crowdfunding for another temporary visa Mental. Absolutely mental

This is not democracy at work it’s a complete erosion of national sovereignty and accountability. I genuinely thought it was a joke at first. A guy who only arrived in the country in 2021, on a temporary student/graduate visa, with no long-term commitment to Scotland , no roots here, and apparently fundraising for his next visa just to stay… has now been elected as an MSP for the Scottish Greens in Edinburgh & Lothians East. He can now help shape laws, spending, and policy that affect Scottish taxpayers, communities, housing, services, and culture for years while his own right to be here could be temporary. This isn’t “diversity” or “inclusion.” This is fucking lunacy.

Still can't believe someone on a student Visa was elected to the Scottish Parliament. What country allows non-citizens in it own legislature to make and pass laws? Scotland deserves better than that.

@sassy_catlady @abingoyippee I always believed that slip up highlighted that even if there is a child, he wasn't not born on 6th May. The dates of future coronations are planned decades in advance. H needed to keep a link to RF after they left and with HM's age, knew it would be sooner rather than later. 🤔

@podcastandrei Some countries insist on charging your bank card BEFORE you are even looked at in their hospitals if you go in as a tourist/non-resident. We roll-out the red carpet and rush them through any procedure.

I want all foreigners to be charged for the NHS. I want them all to provide their own translators at their own expense. The NHS is for the Brits only, not foreigners and not benefits scroungers either.
