That’s not all folks..the violations from this incinerator have been so egregious that the facility was fined $1.75 million by the @OAGMaryland last year - the largest fine EVER - due to its repeated violations of state laws and exposing the public to biohazards.

What is medical waste incineration? Think biohazard waste, like used needles, surgical waste, etc. Here’s a picture (c/o Maryland Office of the Attorney General) of incomplete incineration of medical waste from Curtis Bay Energy. This is burned by the TONS. Every year.
