@unlimited_ls I mean…. I don’t understand the issue here. Don’t get on an escalator if you’re compromised, they can be dangerous. Additionally, all those have walked by homeless people before and learned you get abused or killed if you interact, so best keep your head down and move on

I’d rather own a BYD than a Tesla, not just because it’s a better product. Because Musk chose to pour millions into Trump’s campaign knowing he was in the Epstein files. That wasn’t a mistake, it was a choice. Boycott Tesla.

The community complains about public drug use happening right now then complains about the very solution designed to reduce it: supervised consumption sites. 🤯 You can’t say you want less public consumption while opposing every tool that moves people indoors, connects them to healthcare, and prevents people from dying alone in alleys and bathrooms. This “not in my community” mentality is costing lives. And let’s be clear: it’s not your community. It’s everyone’s community including people struggling with addiction, trauma, homelessness, and mental health challenges!

The “issues” in the area have existed since the 80s. I know because I was a homeless kid there long before any real community supports were built. People act like these problems suddenly appeared because services exist now, they didn’t. The suffering was already there, it was just ignored. And yes, supervised consumption sites do reduce public drug use and public consumption. That’s one of the reasons they were created in the first place. Pretending otherwise is rewriting history.

Here's a question for every BC Conservative leadership candidate: How do we reduce our deficit and complete Burnaby hospital or any hospital by cutting taxes?
Iain Black@iainblackbc

I want to cut your taxes - and it’s a key part of my Five-Point Premier’s Plan that people across British Columbia are responding to. We need to get the economy moving again by restoring certainty for major projects, creating jobs, attracting investment, and bringing confidence back to B.C. Most importantly, make sure you get verified to vote so you can cast your ballot. When the time comes, I would be grateful for your #1 spot on the ballot and appreciative of your consideration for your #2 spot as well. Please visit iainblack.ca for more details on my Five-Point Premier’s Plan - and together, let’s get B.C. back on track.

@VyasSaran Because people who don’t live in Yaletown shouldn’t have a say on this. They had to live the daily trauma of having a high person from the OPS drop his pants and yell death threats to kids at the playground across the street. Or the ones who had to carry baseball bats for safety

@mikelroy Maybe start by supporting the Mayor in getting rid of the gas ban? For a 6 plex development it adds 150k in extra costs

No one really knows how many billions were made in the bread price-fixing scandal. Canadians got squeezed for years while corporations cashed in, and after all that? No jail time, no real accountability, just corporate greed at the expense of everyday people.😡 globalnews.ca/news/11851421/…

@mac36704403 @omg_yay Every obstacle prevents deaths. Most suicides are impulsive, unplanned, and they would have survived if they could have been delayed a short time. Alcohol is a major contributing factor in many suicide—a depressant.

Trevor, you see conspiracies where there are none. Loads of provincial parks have signs that don’t say provincial e.g. Manning Park. Nothing to see here…except more crazy conservative conspiracies.
Trevor Halford@TrevHal

The NDP is removing "provincial" from park signs because it's "not inclusive." This is what they're spending your money on. The same government pursuing co-governance with unelected bodies doesn't find the word "provincial" inclusive enough for a park sign. You can't make this up. #bcpoli
