@Oludeewon What you re suggesting is Kemalism: Genocide of indigenous groups . Why can't we adopt Switzerland or UK kind of government?

I am one of the few people who think that Democracy may not work for Nigeria 🇳🇬 soon. We need some sort of a "soft-authoritarian" leader like Lee Kuan Yew of Singapore🇸🇬. Most importantly, we need someone who loves Nigeria🇳🇬 enough to risk everything to do what is right. I can't find ANYONE in that capacity, yet.

When I said yesterday that the defection of HE Peter Obi and Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso from the ADC to NDC is part of the original plan that was designed by the coalition of opposition parties, some political novices and children thought i was just bluffing. But here is the plan, according to the master strategist of all times, HE Mallam Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai: Obi will pair with Kwankwaso, while Atiku pairs Ameachi. If the northerners do not want to vote for a Christian, they have Atiku, they can vote for him. If the obedients and southern Christians, on the other hand, do not want a northerner to take power from Tinubu, they have Peter Obi to vote for. Either ways, it's a win for the coalition. The ultimate goal is to take Tinubu out of power and bring the country back on track. In addition to the above, and according to the political mathematics of our ever-brilliant Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, either the ticket of Peter Obi/Kwankwaso or Atiku/Ameachi will come 1st and 2nd in 2027 election, then bringing Tinubu to a 3rd position. That's why he said on an interview that there may be a tie between the ticket of 0bi/Kwankwaso and Atiku/Ameachi which may lead to a run-off. The exit of Kwankwaso and Obi from the ADC, therefore, is not a political misstep or any accident. It is rather a strategy to get Tinubu out of power and this strategy will work in one way or the other. -Obah

The major risk that comes with relegation is that, you may not rise again, or it’ll take ages before you rise. Coventry relegated from the premier league in 2001. In that time, they’ve almost relegated to non league😭. They played championship, relegated to league one, relegated to league two, imagine they also relegated to non league football😅. If Millwall promotes, it’ll be their first time since 1990. There are clubs like Wimbledon, Sheffield Wednesday who were household names in the premier league, they’re both in League One now. I mean, Wigan won the FA cup over a decade ago, where are they? Not even in the championship (I miss my guy Rodallega though). Same with Bolton Wanderers, Reading (my guy Sidwell😞), Huddersfield, Blackpool (Charlie Adam’s sweet left foot), these teams are wallowing in the lower divisions. More recently, there’s been Watford, Norwich, Portsmouth, West Brom, Birmingham City, Swansea, QPR, Blackburn (sexy footballer David Bentley), etc., this is a major risk when you relegate, it could go worse from there. First thing that happens when you relegate is that you lose your best players. Those guys don’t want to play in the lower leagues with probably reduced wages and lesser visibility, these guys are internationals, so they leave. All of a sudden, you struggle to come back because you now have same level of players with Bristol City😭 Luton relegated from premier league and subsequently relegated to league one, same with Leicester now, it becomes difficult. Similar thing happened to Sunderland, they also relegated from championship to league one, but thank God they’re back after so many years out. There are clubs that have also mastered the art of promoting immediately to the premier league after relegation. Clubs like Burnley, but these are outliers. Just try as much as possible never to relegate, else VAR won’t save you in the proper shithouse football you’ll meet in the lower divisions.

During my undergraduate years, I once stepped out around 3:30 a.m. in Ramaḍān to switch off the generator powering a Masjid’s loudspeaker. The Qur’ān was being broadcast loudly into the surrounding neighbourhood. Contrary to what some assumed, not everyone was awake preparing for ṣawm. I had not slept all night due to illness, and I knew there were others, Muslims who were sick, elderly, or otherwise excused from fasting, as well as non-Muslims who had no obligation to observe Ramaḍān. In that moment, the issue was not the Qur’ān itself, whose recitation is a source of mercy and guidance, but the manner and timing of its public amplification. I was later accused of “switching off the Qur’ān,” but I maintained, respectfully and firmly, that broadcasting it at such an hour in a way that disturbs others is neither considerate nor consistent with the higher ethics of the Sharīʿah. Islam is a religion that balances devotion with compassion. The use of loudspeakers for the Ādhān serves a clear and legitimate purpose: to notify the faithful of the time of prayer. This is part of our religious identity and should be upheld. However, extending amplification beyond necessity, especially in ways that cause hardship, disturb rest, or infringe upon the well-being of others, contradicts the Prophetic principle: “There should be neither harm nor reciprocating harm”. لا ضرر ولا ضرار We live in a shared and diverse society. Our neighbours include Muslims with varying circumstances and non-Muslims who equally deserve peace and dignity. The Sharīʿah does not promote a form of religiosity that becomes a source of discomfort or resentment. Rather, it calls for wisdom (ḥikmah), sensitivity, and a deep awareness of context. Communal matters such as this should be approached through respectful dialogue, mutual understanding, and a sincere commitment to the common good. By engaging one another with courtesy and empathy, we can preserve both the sanctity of our acts of worship and the harmony of our communities, without compromising either.

I filed a suit against the man who built a mosque in his compound, which is just the next building to mine. Atanda, every 5:45am they will wake me up against my wish with that their noise of prayer every morning. I told him about it, i even suggested he mute the speakers only in the morning but he did not listened and i reported to the sanitation office and i think he bribed them and those ones did not do anything So i filed a suit against him and won the case with damages, he appealed the case and i won again with damages to be paid He paid the damages and removed the speakers outside, but here is now the major problem The imam and every other Muslim in my street now see me as enemy. I believe he is the one instigating that hatred into all Muslims in my street against me, even new muslim tenants in my street and are staying away from me and do not want to have anything to do with me. I want to know if i can take up another case with him for instigating Muslims in the atreet against me just because i fought for my right Copied from the people's parliament

It is better than to dominate politics, science and finance than to dominate entertainment, music, sports and “owanbe”. Black Americans dominate sports, music and entertainment but they do not have political might, financial power and hegemony over the STEM fields. For many years the Yoruba people were almost socially engineered to believe that they are only good for entertainment and fashion in Nigeria. A minority almost convinced everyone that political power belongs to them alone and another group was going about telling the Yoruba people that finance and business belongs to them. A race without power is a conquered and defeated race. It is better to win Nobel prizes in sciences than 1 million grammy awards.

Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso have made up their minds to defect from ADC to NDC in the coming days. As mentioned earlier today, Peter Obi realized he has no chance to defeat Atiku in an open primaries in ADC. He’ll be handed over the Presidential ticket of NDC unanimously by stakeholders of the party and he’ll pick Kwankwanso as his running mate.

This is still fresh because it happened a few days ago. I had the opportunity to cash out, but I didn’t. one game game left that night. The potential winnings were ₦18m on one ticket and ₦10m on the other. I also had another bet on Football com with one same game left at 1.18 odds for all of them…home win or draw. Unfortunately, the home team got a red card and ended up losing the match. That night, I deleted all my betting accounts,SportyBet and Football com and I don’t think I’ll ever bet again in my life. That’s the end. The money should have done a lot for me, I’ll not call it greediness but the way God wanted it to be.

It's champions league day. Let's win some money. I'll select 5 winners today. Each winner gets £10. Predict correct score and any goal scorer. PSG v Bayern Munich. As usual, no need to cheat or use burner accounts, you'll be disqualified. If you also win, and you don't want the money, you can ask me to send to someone else. Remember this is just for fun purposes. By the way, our sponsor today is @Josh_ObiOzor , he's a great guy, please follow his account and business account @getndewo

I’ve been thinking of how to spice up our prediction today. Winner gets £10. Arsenal v Newcastle. Predict CORNER results and ONE goalscorer in the game, any goalscorer. Last time, someone was using different burners to predict, I caught him and disqualified him. It’s not worth it. This is for fun purposes. If you win, and you don’t want the money, tell me who to send to. Let’s go. Corner score and any goalscorer.
