She had a machete cut on her hind right leg, around the hock joint. She was located and darted amidst the other Rongai breakaway girls. After the rest of the pride moved away, Dr Aminga and team moved in to treat her. They cleaned and disinfected the wound before sealing it with green clay and blue antibiotic spray. They also took the opportunity to assess her general body health. Treatment complete, she was revived and rejoined her pride.
