@mathewstewart50 @shezbabee Spot on.. Double standards . Tsatas is made to bide his time for so long in the VFL. Perkins can miss half the pre season yet they rush him in for rd 1 like he’s Isaac Heeney. He’s had plenty of time to prove that he’s barely a VFL player!!! Been gifted 100 games

@shezbabee He keeps playing players who refuse to run back on defence. Yet when the ball goes forward they run like the wind. For god sake have we not seen enough? Get a coach in who will train this young group the right way! Whatever player doesn’t buy in has to be dropped.

Supporters who say Scott isn’t a part of the problem are part of the problem.

The real issue is that system and knowing what to do make skills look better. Players run and kick to the right place and know what they're teammates are going to do = elite kicking

We were trying to move the ball faster in the 2nd half. But its through 7-8 handball chains that simply isn't balanced with spreading & kicking to targets. That system wont win you games. Hawks have a balanced team that plays a modern system. Tonight we were nowhere near it.

In previous years we’ve tried to go for slow build ups, lot of uncontested marks, without really going anywhere Tonight, we’re trying to go quick. It’s blowing up in our face, but in the long run it’s probably the better way to play. Doesn’t mean this isn’t painful #GoDons

After yesterday, my round 1 team. Couldn’t pick that last bench spot, could honestly pick so many. Roberts probably splits between mid and back, not mid imo. Merrett half forward rotation. Gus Clarke I wasn’t sure on, wasn’t great yesterday, neither was Prior.

Mykelti Lefau has been given a 2 game suspension (practice match and Rd1). He’s also been given a $2500 fine and will undergo counselling. Lefau was caught drink driving at over double the legal limit. @7NewsMelbourne @7AFL
