The Fed is not above the U.S. Constitution. Its authority is delegated, limited, and subject to democratic oversight, not self‑proclaimed “independence” used as a shield against accountability. In this context, Powell’s continued tenure is no longer a matter of policy disagreement; it is a liability. This is an absolute embarrassment to the United States.
