I get flipped off on the daily driving my CT in the portland area. I cannot think of the way I want to respond- but I want to. I usually am just in a state of shock (similar feeling I had when I was 12 on my bike on my paper route when a guy pulled up next to me, honked and exposed himself). I digress. I don’t want to respond with more hate, but with some kind of thought provoking statement, that cuts through it. It can’t be audible because the exchange is so fast. And it has to be clever because it must disarm. Share this so more people can help me figure this out?

@LamarMK @elonmusk Never buy any vehicle from any brand on the first 2 years of launch. It takes 3 years to remove the critical flaws from a mass produced vehicle. The 3 year is the sweet spot: the critical problems were removed and the cost reduction have not started yet.

Hey @elonmusk, I really hope you see this message and look into it. I think every 2024 Foundation Series Cybertruck and all Cybertrucks after should get the 7 year / 70,000 mile high priced propulsion related warranty retroactively applied. A lot of early Foundation Series owners had their trucks plagued with issues. Many of us still believe in the future of the truck and we're holding on to ours and encouraging others to buy. Early FS owners didn't get free Supercharging like later FS owners did. And now with this extended warranty for 2026 Cybertrucks and newer, that's why you're seeing comments about early owners feeling like they got screwed. No customer should ever feel like that after a purchase. I personally had 2 Cybertrucks with PCS and other major failures that made the vehicle completely inoperable. I still kept my truck because it's the best truck ever made and Tesla has fixed the reliability issues on newer models. Other automakers frequently extend warranty coverage retroactively through Warranty Extension Programs or Special Coverage when widespread issues come up. Tesla should do the same. This would show future customers that Tesla stands behind every single product they sell, no matter what. The Tesla I've come to know has always taken care of its customers. I truly hope you do right by early Cybertruck owners too. @cybertruck @Tesla @tesla_na

At 15 years old, Liv Perrotto’s biggest dream was to meet @elonmusk. She had even written out a list of questions to ask him. @Vons700 @DefiantLs Both walked away with only minor scratches/bruises. The Porsche 911 GT3 RS and BMW M2 were totaled in the high-speed fiery crash on July 3, 2025.

@DefiantLs Actually, to note, the designers of racetracks are at fault for deadly accidents. Tracks could be properly built with gravel pits on sharp turns and no immediate obstacles to hit, then these kinds of deadly accidents would not happen.

For the last 12 years, I’ve only replaced my iPhones twice, just when they finally started feeling too slow. I’ll probably do the exact same thing with my Tesla. I’ll keep it until the software updates stop coming. The Model 3 I bought last year was already amazing on day one. It’s only going to get even better over the next few years thanks to over-the-air updates. But I know it won’t quite match the brand-new Teslas that come out later, just like iPhones: the look and feel stay pretty similar year after year, but under the hood there are always a bunch of meaningful little improvements. And honestly? I doubt any other EV will beat a Tesla at the same price point anytime soon. Only the true luxury options (like Lucid or Ferrari-level cars) might edge it out.

@mini_optimus @CARN0N Then it’s 2-3 years I’ll be waiting, or by then some other company would have something similar and I’ll go for that. Tesla hasn’t lost me but I’m being as loyal as they are to HW3… I’ll think about buying another one but keep my options open instead 😉

@SteveOnSpeed True. I did this my entire life until I bought a brand new Tesla by emotion and not rationality.
