Who is still awaiting the Tesla 2026 Spring Update?

@wholemars @niccruzpatane We drove using FSD from Colorado to Florida and back last month. It was amazing. It certainly allows for longer drives with so much less fatigue!

Lots of talk recently about using Tesla Self-Driving for long distance trips. Strongly recommend people try it, it's an amazing way to travel. Here's Tesla Self-Driving 14.3.1 taking me from Downtown San Francisco to Downtown Los Angeles with just a tap on the screen.

Tesla FSD 14.3.1 first drive observations: Hurry mode is my favorite and it didn’t disappoint. Maxed out at about the same speed but did feel like it accelerated off the line a bit faster and actually felt like it was “hurrying”. Loved. Parking at the mall was good. It skipped the first available spot but there was someone standing in it at the time so that made sense. Did have the same navigational issue I always struggle with leaving the mall to get onto I25 North (video attached). I argue with it every time and try to force it over with the blinker. I let it got his time and it had to correct itself at the last minute. I will admit about 10-20% of human drivers also consistently make this mistake, I just don’t want to be one of them 🤣 Overall, loving it and excited to keep using it. What's your FSD percent at after no exciting updates for a while? I'm wondering if people get bored and use it less over time.

@niccruzpatane Just road tripped from Denver to Memphis in 2 days using FSD exclusively. It takes a bit longer to charge but the stress free drive with FSD makes it so worth it.

Even if a Tesla had 500 miles of range, it wouldn’t change the trip much from LA to Yosemite, which is ~310 miles one way. There’s no way someone isn’t stopping at least once during the 5.5 hour journey. The Tesla with the longest range is the Model S AWD with 410 miles. During that one stop you are already taking during the 5.5 hour trip, the car charges, so you aren’t losing as much time as you think, if any. Plus, Yosemite offers many destination charging options, so your car can top off while you’re there, eliminating even more charging time. The biggest thing, @WilliamShatner, is that Tesla vehicles drive themselves. I’ve gone from Toronto to Austin, TX, without ever needing to touch the steering wheel. Over 3,500 miles total. Tesla Self-Driving handles charging and navigation, so you can just relax. The pros of road tripping in a Tesla far outweigh the cons. When you reach Yosemite, you’ll feel way more refreshed since you didn’t have to drive the whole way.

Our @tesla backed into the driveway and into the garage for the first time today! I still had a little rearranging to do 😅 but i was so happy!

Update on my Tesla Model Y saga, y'all ☕ Feb 18: Took a demo drive "just to see." Went home and ordered one like a man with absolutely no chill. Posted about have amazing it was.. @elonmusk and @Tesla quoted it! Feb 20: Order placed. Told myself I'd be patient. I was not patient. Feb 28: VIN assigned! I may have done a small victory lap. Mar 9: VIN vanished. Manufacturing gremlins won. Viictory lap cancelled. Mar 13: App says "Vehicle in transit." I refreshed it 47 times… patience has left the building. Mar 14: Finally an actualy delivery window of Mar 26–31. It's official. The car exists. It's headed my way. Meanwhile, my garage looks like a Tesla accessory warehouse exploded with more packages on the way... Damn you Amazon and Tesla shop! All for a car I don't technically have yet. 😂
