@tedcruz I live in CA and last week my gas (okay, it’s premium based on recommendations from the maker) was $6.99/gallon. I bet it’s in the >$7/gallon range now but I’ve been gone in Austin and Phoenix looking for a home to get the hell out of California.

Just filled my tank. In Texas, gas is $3.99 a gallon. Hey Gavin—the problem isn’t Chevron, it’s California’s stupid energy policies….

@jenteach13 The kids are so over tested, nothing is done with the data in a timely manner…by the time they get to the actual state test they’re exhausted and just don’t care anymore.

You want to fix education? Stop testing kids into the ground. State tests. Diagnostics. Benchmarks. Progress monitoring. Retests.

@teachwhocares1 All that was on but we were notified over 45 minutes after the lockdown. It’s unacceptable. My daughter said they were told to not talk and turn everything off and get under desk. Which they all did, teens aren’t that stupid to be calling when they can text parents

I hate getting calls about school lockdown and then having to wait for the updates. They take away the cellphones at the beginning of class and I just don’t agree with it. I want my daughter to be able to contact me in these situations.

And to push the agenda that the unions that fought for labor laws, better pay, and better working conditions are bad. You know, the ones that actually fight for workers.
