@IlliniJen @JBPritzker Kids shouldn't be texting, recording, listening to music, or living on social media in the classroom. The middle school I teach at banned them last year using Yondr Pouches, and it has been the single best thing we've done to improve interpersonal communication & respect.

Illinois House passed @JBPritzker’s cellphone bill SB 2427 (102-3). Kids bring phones. Teachers already confiscate them. Parents are demanding real classroom transparency so we know exactly what’s happening with our kids every single day. Springfield wants to keep us in the dark. Don’t want this? Call your state senator.

The IL House votes 102-3-1 to pass a bill requiring every school district to adopt a policy banning students from using cellphones during class. The ban would be bell-to-bell for elementary and middle school students. Policies would need to be in place by the 2027-28 school year.

BREAKING: The Chicago Bulls are waiving Jaden Ivey after he spoke out against the NBA for promoting 'Pride Month' and unrighteousness, according to ESPN. Ivey recently announced that he was alive in Christ. "They proclaim Pride Month in the NBA. They show it to the world. They say, 'Come join us for Pride Month to celebrate unrighteousness.'" "They proclaim it on the billboards, they proclaim it in the streets, unrighteousness." He said nothing wrong.

@PeterAPatriot @CalebFC18 Pritzker wants to look tough before he runs for president, that’s all. Separately, the Bears don’t owe a dime on that stadium beyond their lease payments.

Pritzker does have a brain. We all want the CHICAGO Bears to stay in Chicago or at the very least Illinois, but a governor’s job isn’t to be a superfan. It’s to look out for everyone. The Bears are an $8B private business and still owe ~$500M from the last Soldier Field renovation. Taxpayers haven’t even finished paying for the old deal, and people are acting shocked that Pritzker won’t rush into another one. Infrastructure help that benefits the region? Fair. Writing a blank check for billionaire owners while schools, transit, and healthcare compete for dollars? Not smart. Keeping the Bears in Illinois takes negotiation and realism. Pritzker’s thinking long-term, not emotionally. Let’s help him out and show the Chicago Bears owners how much we actually care about keeping the team here.

The Chicago Bears have confirmed they will invest $2 BILLION to build the stadium. Arlington Heights needs funding modernize the roads & utilities to support the anticipated growth — A need regardless if the stadium is built. Would be easy to keep the Bears in Illinois if JB Pritzker had a brain,

Mother— I write by candlelight as the Dairy Platoon stirs. They begin to march and by morrow’s night will press upon our soil. The flame’s flicker throws shadows upon the barracks; the men stand solemn behind the quiet faith of our civilians. Dost thou believe in Monsters? —CW

Here are The Facts 🤙🏽 Thanks for the tag @RTE196 Follow to tag when a post is needing context 🤙🏽 Uber Driver Kidnapped & Killed in Pittsburgh Area — Killer Sentenced to Life Monroeville, PA — February 10, 2022 (incident) & May 5, 2025 (sentencing) Christina Spicuzza, 38, a busy Uber driver and mother of four, was kidnapped during a ride and later found dead in a wooded area in Monroeville, Pennsylvania. The killer, Calvin Crew (25), hailed the ride, after which he held her at gunpoint, forced her to keep driving, and executed her with a single gunshot to the head. Prosecutors found dash‑cam footage and GPS data tying him to the crime. In May 2025, Crew was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole, plus an additional 13 to 26 years for related charges such as kidnapping, robbery, evidence tampering and firearm offenses. Spicuzza’s family had requested that prosecutors seek life—rather than death—because of her religious beliefs. During the sentencing, her mother stated to the court: “You executed her. No mercy, no remorse. It was murder.”

Calvin Crew was sentenced to life in prison without parole for murdering Uber driver Christina Spicuzza back in 2022. 😳💔 It’s heartbreaking, she was a mom of four, and the whole thing was caught on her dashcam. She begged for her life “Please I have 4 kids”

Evil is real. There is no doubt, the enemy is hard at work. These last few days, the weight of evil has been heavy across our nation. But this I know: It will not have the final word. One day, God will make all things right. Until then, we pray. We weep with those who weep. And we keep fighting, knowing the victory has already been won.

I am told that as a state representative this is the moment where I'm supposed to express my heartfelt condolences and then stand in solidarity with those on the other side of the aisle as we condemn political violence and stand unified as one people. But we aren't "one people" are we? The truth is we haven't been for some time now, and there is really no point in pretending anymore, if there ever was. We are two very different peoples. We may occupy the same piece of geography, but that is where the similarities seem to abruptly end. I convinced myself for a long time that whenever the left called me a racist, a bigot, a sexist, a fascist, a "threat to democracy" for even the most innocent of disagreements, that it was simply hyperbolic rhetoric done for effect. And now the "effect" is a widow and two orphaned children, because the left couldn’t bear the thought of a peaceful man debating them and winning. I don’t think they realize it yet, but murdering Charlie is going to be remembered as the day where we finally woke up to what this fight really is. It’s not a civil dispute among fellow countrymen. It’s a war between diametrically opposed worldviews which cannot peacefully coexist with one another. One side will win, and one side will lose. Charlie tried to win that fight through argumentation, through discussion, through peaceful resolution of differences. And the other side murdered him. Not because he was “extreme” or “inciting violence” or any other hyperbolic slur they hurled at him. They murdered him because he was effective. Because he was unafraid. Because he inspired others and made them feel like they had a voice, that they were not alone. And he did it at the very institutions which have fomented so much hatred toward conservatives. I don’t want to “stand in solidarity” with the other side of the aisle. I want to defeat you. I want to defeat the godless ideology that kills babies in the womb, sterilizes confused children, turns our cities into cesspools of degeneracy and lawlessness…and that murdered Charlie Kirk. Social media is aflame right now with leftist celebration of Charlie’s death. I wonder if any among them understand what has just happened. If there is a Yamamoto somewhere in their midst warning, that all they have done is awoken a sleeping giant. I doubt it. I think they gave up such introspection and self-awareness long ago. I don’t know exactly what will happen next. I just know that it won’t be the same as what has happened in the past. There will be thoughts and prayers…Charlie would have wanted prayers. Not for himself but for those left behind and for the country that he loved. But then there will be a reckoning. My Christian faith requires me to love my enemies and pray for those who curse me. It does not require me to stand idly by in the midst of savagery and barbarism...quite the opposite. So every time I feel tired, every time I feel discouraged or overwhelmed, I am going to watch the video of a good man being murdered in Utah…I will force myself to watch it…and then I will return to the work of destroying the evil ideology responsible for that and so much more. Rest with God Charlie, your fight is over. Ours is just beginning.
