@Laganish Tbh no. Gearing more people will show who is more skilled in the long run. You can't complain anymore about how undergeared you are for x content. Having easy access to BiS to near BiS shows who is good by highest key, when he killed a certain boss on mythic etc.

I have complicated feelings about this, if I'm honest an easier gearing cycle is probably better on average for more people with such a broad audience, but I worry about longevity in a "hold W for Myth gear from vault" simulator without effort, isn't it all a bit meaningless?

@_sakuria @WarcraftDevs Well yes and no. Everyone who uses the rolls may still have the earlier rolled items as a possible drops for the next rolls. There will be some who get lucky and have everything they wanted tho.
