What if you could use an agent in Linear to ask a client for a decision without giving them access to Linear?

shipping a small thing today that I think will matter more than it looks: a "getting started" checklist that appears after onboarding, not during it. the problem wasn't the onboarding, but the silence after. do you design for the moment right after onboarding or just the onboarding itself?

What client communication problem you would love to be solved for your Linear team?

For PMs and engineering leads at agencies on Linear: How much of your week goes to translating internal progress into something client-readable? I'm trying to understand if this is a 30-minute problem or a half-day problem. What's realistic?

@princh_man @linear Every sprint me running it and sharing it via email with clients? Isn’t it annoying?

@madatbay @linear can't you use linear ai for it? it must have enough context to answer these kind of questions and point you to where you should look?

One thing I've noticed after 4+ years using @linear : The tool is incredible for the team. But the moment a client asks "where are things at?" and you leave Linear entirely. Slack message, email, doc, call. Is that just how it goes or has anyone figured out a better way?

@madatbay @linear Yeah, 100% agree and I have been looking for a solution. None of the listed integrations are viable. Shareable views of some sort. But, you know what, I understand why @linear haven't prioritised it. I don't think it's their core target market.

@madatbay @linear Linear Pulse is a nice place to stay updated on the initiatives and project updates, but it needs some work to better translate that to summaries for stakeholders. Also it needs automation so we don’t have to manually enter the project updates

@ovojebk @Lloyd @linear I already have few users including paid using Alignear. I’m trying to keep it “client communication” only without adding unrelated feature. You’ll find cool features from reporting to decision making there

@madatbay While we can't vouch for any specific tooling or workflow, we have seen customers use third party integrations creating external views (lindie.app, productlane.com, or featurebase.app to name a few).
