@kirtandopamine i make myself sit down and code for 30ish min a day to help with that, usually just a leetcode or two. sometimes debugging my own application with my own two eyes and one brain. i've still regressed in coding ability, but probably not as much as some SWEs.

Psychedelics and meditation don’t kill ambition. They kill your ego.
If you’re building or working on something because you’re passionate about it, because you want to learn, because you believe in the mission, then psychedelics, meditation, and anything that expands consciousness will help you. You’ll be more present, inspired, and creative.
If you’re building a company solely for external validation, or working a job you hate just for the money, that’s a different story.
Psychedelics don’t make you less ambitious. They make ego-driven ambition impossible to sustain.

It’s feeling confident that your income will be the same or greater next year, next 2 years. Many high paying jobs do not provide this form of security, so it almost doesn’t matter how much they pay

Nolan's obsessions with the non-linear storytelling gimmick really hurts this film. It jumps around so much, and spends so little time on any one particular moment or scene, that you never really feel like Odysseus is on an epic journey spanning many years. When he makes it home, you never feel like he's been gone for 20 years. The film does not capture the grandeur and scope of the original epic. That's why it feels rushed and too long simultaneously. The movie comes off like a rough draft. Nolan was searching for the actual story but never quite found it.
