I'm thrilled to see this well-deserved recognition, but I've got to say, $6 million is a drop in the bucket for the incredible work Melissa and her team at Pok Pok have accomplished. ( We valued Clubhouse at $4 billion, didn't we? We also overvalued BeReal, Poparazzi, Lapse, and even IRL that was an absolute fraud but raised $200 million using Bots with ease from VCs.… )
It’s absolutely unprecedented what they have done here, and continue to do. I’m not talking about installs I’m talking about viability.
They've built a remarkable platform that's making a real difference in the lives of families across this great nation.
Their dedication and perseverance, even among a remarkably talented and experienced team, have resulted in the creation of one of the healthiest apps aimed at kids' of the past decade.
We need to recognize that the work they're doing is not just about metrics and profits, but about building a better future for our children.
Pok Pok is a shining example of the kind of leadership and innovation we need more of in Silicon Valley and beyond.
So let's keep supporting Melissa and her team as they continue to push the boundaries of what's possible.
They're just getting started, and I have no doubt that they'll be a force for good for years to come.
Thanks, Melissa, for your unwavering commitment to your mission and for inspiring a new generation of leaders to follow in your footsteps.
