Russia attacked Ukraine with 68 missiles and 351 drones last night. A horrible, scary night with devastating aftermath. ❗️ 14 people were killed by the Russian strike on Kyiv and Kyiv region. Nearly 60 more were injured, including five children. About 30 residential buildings in Kyiv were significantly damaged. Russia also attacked other regions of Ukraine: ▪️ In Zaporizhzhia, a gas station was struck. Five people were injured, including an 11-year-old boy. ▪️ In the morning, a Russian drone hit a civilian car in Kherson. Two men killed. Two women injured. ▪️ Russia attacked a postal sorting terminal in Dnipro. ▪️ Russian drones also struck gas stations in Kharkiv and Izium, Kharkiv region. Last night, the Russian regime once again blindly attacked civilians from the air, with over 400 drones and missiles attacking the capital. Ukraine urgently needs more air defence. We will discuss it this week in Ankara at the @NATO Summit. Last week we provided the first €4 billion under our €90 billion loan, to strengthen Ukraine's defence with advanced drone technology. More is coming very soon. And we are working hard to seal the deal on the 21st sanctions package in the next days. We will keep increasing the pressure until Russia ends the bloodshed.

Now 11 killed in Kyiv. Ukraine says it intercepted zero of the 29 ballistic missiles fired at Kyiv and its suburbs. It’s clearly out of Patriot interceptors. Judging by the secondary detonations and evacuation orders, Russia managed to hit a major Ukrainian defense industry facility near Kyiv. Ukraine has been successfully attacking the Russian missile industry in recent weeks. European nations that are reluctant to share Patriot interceptors with Ukraine do so because they fear they may need them themselves. Yet, there is no better way to reduce the danger posed by Russia than helping Ukraine’s campaign.
