Tuesday's Free Pick: Denver Nuggets -6.5 Both the Denver Nuggets and Dallas Mavericks will be playing the 2nd of a back-to-back tonight. The difference is the Nuggets jumped out to a 19-0 lead on the Jazz last night and the game was never in doubt. No starter played even 30 minutes for the Nuggets, so they will still be pretty fresh and ready to go tonight. Meanwhile, the Mavericks were in a dog fight with the Pelicans, losing 119-113 on the road. Anthony Davis and Cooper Flagg both played 35 minutes. Davis rarely plays the 2nd of a back-to-back, and Flagg came into the game questionable with a back injury and could sit as well. I like the Nuggets -6.5 even if Davis and Flagg play, but this line will certainly move heavily in Denver's favor if one or both sit and we'll have a great bet. Klay Thompson also came into the game last night questionable and could sit. I also like the fact that the road team is 4-0 SU & 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings. Denver will want to avenge an upset home loss to the Mavericks as 11-point favorites on December 1st in their first and only meeting this season as well. The Nuggets have been at their best on the road all season going 12-2 SU & 9-5 ATS away from home. Bet the Nuggets Tuesday.

We saw Achiuwa run 30 minutes here for size matching, his most so far with the team and will be needed again with a large frontcourt of Gobert/Randle/Reid. When Russ was in, he defended Conley and Edwards the most, leaving him far from rebound positioning -- hence the 0 rebounds logged. Russ is pretty poor at fighting through a Rudy screen, so Ant fired off 11 3PA here as well. Westbrook as a PA guy thrives in PACE, where MIN plays B10 in that regard while being above average in limiting turnovers. MIN drive collapse + already hard individual matchups in Ant/Reid make this a hard line to pass.
