@MatthwDayton There are so many pre rendered cutscenes in this game. They look like they are Realtime, but it's not. They would need to remaster all these videos too. The better thing would be to make them real time. Keeping the videos would look way worse compared to the remastered graphics.

@vrexec There is a Family with 7 Kids in my house. The parents run a successfull Restaurant. They rented 2 appartements here even though they could have rented a small house for this money here in Germany. They don't care about the people around them. Absolutely egoistic

Something I don’t understand is how you can live in an apartment and complain about noise from your neighbors. We have two kids under 10 and they’re always making noise. Older neighbors sometimes complain or bang on the floor or ceiling. If you don’t like noise, then why are you living in a city or an apartment? Go live in the middle of nowhere. Go live in a farm town in a big field. You chose the convenience of urban life… you have to accept that you’re living around other humans. Get over it.

The NPCs in Crimson Desert steal all the food that you put down. This Korean #CrimsonDesert player used their ingenuity to punish the NPCs for their greed. Nvidia has a new tech called Neural Texture Compression. It cuts VRAM use a lot. In one demo, textures went from 6.5 GB down to 970 MB. That is about 7 times less memory.

@Nemninq @_CULLI_ @SynthPotato RR is a raytracing denoiser from Nvidia that blends raytracing better into the game by reducing artifacts and noise from raytracing. Not always necessary. but in CD, this improves the RT quality a lot. It's like a higher quality RT mode in CD, which is weird.

Hard to describe how ridiculously sharp Crimson Desert looks now on PS5 Pro with the new PSSR Sharpness upgrade they added today Genuinely looks 8K atp to my eyes, its ridiculous how good PSSR2 is

@WhereAmIU @_CULLI_ @SynthPotato True, although they already fixed a lot of weird things when raytracing is on, but RR off. But the lighting is still way superior with RR of course.

@thegolfclub2012 @_CULLI_ @SynthPotato As far as I know, RR always makes dlss fall back to it's own 4.0 based RR upscaler no matter the game. They made the RR dlss look better though. They do what they can to minimize the artifacts with this, but as long as Nvidia doesn't make 4.5 happen with RR, it's not possible

@_CULLI_ @SynthPotato Use dlss 4.5 preset L it will look significantly better than this. I guess you don't use Ray reconstruction? Because with this the dlss falls back to 4.0 which looks way worse.
