@NorbertHartl Zu einfach. Die Behauptung, dass weibliche Staatsoberhäupter die Krise bessern handeln würden, scheint mir genauso ignorrant wie die Behauptung, dass Ausländer krimineller seien. Da gibt es viele andere wichtige Faktoren. Z.B. könnten Inselstaaten einfacher zu kontrollieren sein.

Es ist einfach, wenn man sich Länder hernimmt, die es nicht gebacken bekommen. USA und GB sind blond und von den Personen auf den Bildern keine. Bin mir sicher das ist es!

@haidarosm The fatality rate is currently only known for the short term in which we are measuring. Also, if we mostly test severe cases due lack of testing capacity. But, if you get tested chances are quite high, so you should avoid getting tested, I guess.

Isn’t the fatality rate = (# deaths / # closed cases) ? And if so, isn’t Corona a lot scarier than we think (fatality rate = 21%) ? Or am I missing something?

@alexbergel Identify authors with a strong profile in the field and drop them an (not too long) email asking for their grand perspective and the things they always wanted to do, but could not yet allocate the necessary resources. I have never tried this systematically though.

To my #Softwareengineering colleagues: do you know a methodology to identify open challenges and opportunities worth exploring in a research field? In other words: after conducting a systematic literature review, how can one conclude what are research areas worth exploring?

Hour 3 of today's @DB_Bahn adventure: ICE 109 is now standing in Mannheim, already close to one hour delay. Had to sit between cars from Cologne because there were no available seats. Now they kicked people off the train because it was too full. Quite a stunt to pull off, kudos.
