Open Letter from Caff Creators Web3 is moving toward a cross-chain future where protocols no longer require trust. Yet collaboration in this space still depends on trust between people. Hello @EspressoSys team First, we want to acknowledge the work behind building Espresso and launching $ESP. As Caffeinated Creators, we’ve been closely involved in the journey and genuinely believe in the long-term importance of Espresso’s cross-chain vision. Espresso has always stood out as a team of serious builders with a real product, and that credibility is what attracted a committed group of creators. For that reason, the outcome of the $ESP distribution for Caffeinated Creators has come as a shock to many of us. We respect the decision to prioritize wallet history and to filter out farming behavior. That approach makes sense. However, the resulting allocation for creators appears to be either overlooked or folded into a model that does not reflect the nature or scale of our contributions. The allocations received by creators are, in many cases, extremely small and difficult to reconcile with months of consistent content creation, education, and community support. This is not about comparison, but about proportional recognition. Even in challenging market conditions, fairly rewarding a focused group of roughly 70 creators should have been achievable. Based on available data, the total allocation to all Caffeinated Creators is approximately 140,000 ESP tokens, around 0.0003 percent of the total airdrop. For a small group that has actively supported the ecosystem alongside development progress, this feels misaligned with the collaborative values Espresso has consistently communicated. Through ongoing community calls and direct interaction, we’ve come to respect the team’s ethics and transparency, which makes this situation particularly difficult to understand. If this distribution reflects the team’s final position on community contribution, then that message is now clear. If instead there were errors, constraints, or factors we’re unaware of, we believe it’s important to communicate that openly. It’s been over 24 hours since our requests for clarification, and still, no response has been provided. This is unprofessional, and we know you for a better way of handling such matters. We are not asking for immediate changes, but we are asking for communication. Even confirming the decision directly would be more constructive than silence. Respectfully, Caffeinated Creators

Regardless of whether the methodology behind the distribution of the $ESP airdrop has been beneficial or detrimental to me, I congratulate the @espressoFNDN for the smart implementation of @hosseeb idea. From this moment on, the price behavior shows that Dumpers did not receive many tokens due to their low wallet score. This shows that the tokens have reached people who truly believe in the future of blockchain and are not merely farming. I want to look at this high-quality launch realistically, so let me make a criticism as well: the lack of appreciation that the @EspressoSys team showed towards the Caff Creators, the special group who created the deepest and most impactful content for Espresso. They deserved more than the three-digit allocations they received. We all know the market situation isn't great, but there weren’t even 100 Caff Creators. Even if each of them received 10K $ESP, that would still be less than 1 million tokens. less than 1 million tokens out of the 359 million airdrop allocation didn’t go to the most prominent Espresso creators! I respect the team’s decision and I believe that decisions lead to further decisions. I hope the best things happen for Espresso.

We are a Caffeine Creator. You said that we matter and that we are among the most loyal. On the day we registered our wallet in Discord, we asked if we could provide a new wallet. You said yes. But didn’t you see us and those who spent thousands of dollars buying NFTs as loyal? Instead, you considered those who only had a few transactions in the ecosystem as loyal just because they were token holders. That move was good, but those who have been producing content for months should have been given a fixed allocation outside of the boost formula. You airdropped 359 million tokens, which is not a small amount, and this shows the team’s commitment to the community. But what is the benefit of that when you did not consider your earliest community members the Caffeine Creators as loyal? We received 2,000 tokens, while others whom you considered loyal received 20,000 meaning 20 times more than us. You airdropped 359 million tokens. Just 1 million out of those 359 million tokens could have made 60 of your loyal members happy. Was it a large number? Not even one percent.
