A short video is going viral: a teenage girl opens her credit card app and looks genuinely confused when she sees the word “pay.” She asks her mom why she has to pay anything at all. The mom calmly explains that a credit card is borrowed money; you have to pay it back. The girl pushes back, saying she already paid when she bought the items, and insists it’s not her problem because her card is “unlimited.”
It’s hard to watch without thinking this goes beyond teenage attitude; it points to a gap in basic financial education and, honestly, parenting. Understanding how money works isn’t optional anymore, especially when access to credit is so easy at a young age.
How do you think parents and schools should teach financial responsibility before teens get access to credit cards?

A woman gets a call from a hospital saying her husband has been admitted. Confused, she tells them she doesn’t have a husband anymore. The staff insists; she’s listed as the emergency contact. It turns out to be her ex-husband. Reluctantly, she goes to the hospital, but refuses to see him at first. The staff keeps pushing until she finally agrees. When she walks into the room, he’s calm, kind… completely different from the man she divorced. A doctor pulls her aside and explains: he has amnesia and doesn’t remember the last two years; no fights, no separation, no divorce. In his mind, they’re still happily married. The doctor says it’s important not to force memories back and suggests she take him home, letting him recover naturally. This is one of those situations where emotion, ethics, and personal boundaries collide. On one hand, there’s compassion; someone vulnerable, confused, and depending on a familiar face. On the other, there’s history, pain, and a relationship that ended for a reason. Just because he forgot doesn’t mean she should have to. Would you step back into that role temporarily to help someone heal… or protect your peace and keep the past where it belongs?

Bubba is lost after wandering away from home and is trying to find his way back to his person. When he came across his owner’s clothing, he sniffed them and cried. He knows his person is out there, but his owner is currently recovering from surgery and cannot reach him.
Thankfully, Found A Hound Rescue has set up a feeding station nearby and is slowly moving it closer to a trap each day. Bubba is eating well and has already picked up on when food is coming.
Today is an important step. His food will be placed right at the entrance of the trap. Let’s all pray Bubba goes inside so he can be safe and reunited with his family. 💔🐾

Let the whining from my Party begin about the fact the voters in Virginia unlike Texas (which started all of this gerrymandering mess) actually had a say in whether or not they wanted their congressional maps redrawn. In Texas, the Republican legislature just did it and not one Republican complained.

Not enough people are talking about this.
Hungary’s incoming PM has said that Viktor Orbán used Hungarian government funds to help finance CPAC, the flagship networking event for GOP candidates, members of Congress, and conservative media in this country.
Under U.S. law, that is not just a Hungarian problem. Foreign governments are barred from spending money in American elections, and Americans are forbidden from soliciting or accepting it. If these allegations are true, this is a direct attack on the integrity of American democracy.
We need a full investigation by Congress, the FEC, and the DOJ. The American people deserve to know exactly what flowed from Orbán’s government into this country’s political ecosystem, who was on the receiving end, and what it bought.

$580,000,000 in oil futures moved 16 minutes before Trump announced a pause in Iran strikes.
Not after. Before.
The BBC just documented five separate instances of massive, suspiciously timed trades preceding Trump’s biggest market-moving announcements — oil futures, the tariff pause, Maduro’s capture, Iran ceasefire bets.
The platforms where anonymous accounts cashed in? Polymarket and Kalshi. Donald Trump Jr. sits on Polymarket’s advisory board and is a strategic advisor to Kalshi.
There’s even a law against this. The STOCK Act (2012) explicitly covers executive branch officials. Zero prosecutions in 14 years.
Oh, and the DOJ unit created after Watergate to prosecute exactly this kind of corruption? Trump cut it from 36 lawyers to 2 and stripped its authority to file new cases.

I tried to tell people who didn’t vote Dem in 2024 ‘to teach Democrats a lesson’ that sadly Democrats will never learn that lesson.

I am a Democrat. I served in the White House, the State Department, and the Senate. I respect Kamala Harris as the important historical figure she is, but she should in no way be the next presidential candidate of our party. Our message must be change for a better future, not regurgitating the past. We will not go back.
