@ManagerTactical @ZwebackHD Not Spain 10. This midfield 3 with ozil dropping in and lahm inverting in today’s game would overrun spains one dimensional tiki taka

@DanisMCFC Yeah and none of them will play against Arsenal with the conference league final being three days after.

🚨🎙️ Isco on why he became emotional after Real Betis secured a Champions League spot despite winning it five times with Real Madrid:
“People think I was crying because Real Betis qualified for the Champions League… but they don’t understand what this means to me.
At Real Madrid, winning the Champions League became normal. We had superstars everywhere, billion-euro pressure, and the world expected us to lift that trophy every season. I won it 5 times there, yes… but sometimes when everything is expected, you don’t even have time to feel it emotionally.
But with Betis? This is different. This is football with soul.
Here, nobody promised us European nights. Nobody treated us like kings before we achieved anything. We fought for this. Every point felt like a war, every away game felt personal, every fan believed with their heart instead of entitlement.
That’s why I got emotional.
Because hearing the Champions League anthem with Betis feels more real to me than some of the finals I played at Madrid. At Madrid, if you lose a semifinal, people call the season a disaster. Here, qualifying alone feels historic. You appreciate football differently.
And honestly… I’ve felt more loved in one season at Betis than in years at Madrid. At Betis they sing your name because they adore you. At Madrid they sing your name today and ask for your replacement tomorrow.
Football happiness cannot be measured only by trophies. Sometimes one qualification with a family club means more than lifting cups in a machine built to win them.
That’s why I cried.”

@terrychristian @goodbadftblpod Oh come on. LVGs era was far more boring and never looked like scoring.

@goodbadftblpod Whilst the paying fans nodded off at the worst football we'd ever seen at old trafford in 50 years

EA is microtransaction thrash now and even that is wearing off as more and more people are getting of EAFC. So hopefully that makes them rethink their strategy. They had a spell in the 360/ps3 era where they were releasing new IPs like Dead Space, Mirrors Edge, Army of Two and Skate. But since then they just been living off FIFA/EAFC microtransactions.
English

In an era when Konami jumped in train with Silent Hill because Capcom is milking Resident Evil like never before and studios like Bloober Team are raising because of survival horror, EA doesn't see profit on the genre, what a bunch of stupid ass people.

International football has always been slower you dummy. Tournaments happen after a long season in very hot weather and you are playing matches every 3 or 4 days. There’s no way you can play high pressing non stop without picking up injuries. You also clipping a midfield that was impossible to press anyway.
English

The pace football is played at today looks like 2x speed compared to a decade ago. You just don’t get that much time on the ball anymore

@TyMarshall_MEN Yeah telling us about the history that we have with Leeds is probably why we lost the game.

Casemiro backing Michael Carrick for the #mufc job and comparing him to Carlo Ancelotti on the Rio Ferdinand podcast
"Ancelotti, he is a big manager because he understands. He played. He knows what the players need to listen to, and he pushes, but he knows the time to push. He [Carrick] knows. So for me he deserves it.
"He has very good staff. He's very intelligent. But for me, the best thing he knows about the club. He understands the club. I remember we played against Leeds, and the meeting is about the history this game."

@pizzy_kay Deschamps that high up?But Lippi at the bottom. And nobody in their right mind would put Deschamps above Mourinho.
English

@homeofkhalifah @BarcaWorldwide 06 was strong too and had a good defence.
English

@BarcaWorldwide That was probably a very strong National Team Players Argentina ever has, but with a Legend player but not so good to be a Coach/Manager. If only they were managed by one of the best manager at that time, I think at least they could reach the Final.
English

@DamianW9018 @LuiAltt @SullyTalkz We just went 16th to 3rd. The league is so shit that a corner team is going to win it, this is not Guardiola or Klopp 90 points league. We have a good chance to win the league.
English

@LuiAltt @SullyTalkz I'm not saying that isn't possible and shouldn't be the ambition, cause it is & should, but reality is that this club needs consistency and progression, instead of taking another risk & building yet again.
Especially if a world class manager doesn't have interest yet

The expectation is for #MUFC to offer Michael Carrick the permanent head coach role for next season. No concrete talks or official decision has been made yet but it's looking increasingly likely that the club want to continue with the 44-year-old following impressive past months.

English

@M41Red @Malachians Well Iraola is about to get Bournemouth into Europe after selling most of his defence last summer and losing his best player in January. They lost Kluivert for most of the season too. Do you think Carrick could do a similar job to him at Bournemouth?
English

@makemefamous201 @Malachians Nothing to suggest Iraola or Nagelsmann could either
English

@NathSalt1 Is removing VAR going to turn Anthony Taylor into Collina? Stop blaming VAR and blame the clowns who use it. The standard of referring is in the gutter.
English

@Muppetiers Title deciding? Title has been won for weeks and Madrid are too busy fighting with themselves rather against Barca.
English

@OllieHolt22 So why has it not been called a foul when Arsenal have been doing it all season? Premier league needs to get a grip of this crap regarding surrounding the goalkeeper. Should start calling for fouls when anyone is near the goalkeeper.
English

@MikeKeegan_DM Why don’t you get rid of the referees using it? VAR gone is not going to turn them into amazing Refs. The standard will still be in the gutter. Anthony Taylor is not going to turn into Collina because VAR is removed.
English

As many Manchester United fans have pointed out, Arsenal won at Old Trafford with a goal from a corner that wasn’t disallowed after a review and a dozen replays. And then there’s the foul from Rice that arguably started before the arm on Raya. This impacts not only the title but potentially a relegation costing north of £100m. Zero consistency, zero need. Get. Rid.
