Can anyone help connect me with therapy that is not trans affirming? I need a new therapist. My trans identified female therapist just took hundreds of dollars out of my bank account overnight putting me into the negative. And I have to wait until it’s not pending on Tuesday to dispute the charges. She was the very last trans identified person I had any human connection to or trusted. Fired. The problem is I can’t find a GC therapist in Michigan. It’s an affirmation only model here for therapists. And therapists who don’t agree with trans are too terrified to speak out or to put themselves out there as such (understandably so as they will lose their jobs).
