@NikLynam One of these teams is also on every no trade clause and the other is one of the most preferred destinations to play in. All the more reason for the Jets to ensure drafting and developing is priority #1 (something the haven’t done very well lately!)

VGK is going on their 4th HC since entering the league, firing 3. In that span: Winnipegs fired 0 HC’s, had 2 “Resign/retire” before coming back to the league in greener pastures currently. If I were a betting man, Arniel lasts another year before “mutually parting ways” when they stumble again

🔒 Christopher Tanev is incredible. He's been on this list for the fifth season in a row. And I'm not sure if there was ever more pretty clear winner than him this season. Played against elite opponents every game & best defensive impact in his teammates.

The Jets are a wagon! The city and province are just as amazing! We have three of the best seasons that you could ever want to live in. With climate change, our winters are a piece of cake. In the summer we are not huddled in our houses in the air conditioning. We are out camping and fishing on our over 1000 beautiful forested lakes. Anywhere from 25 Celsius to 35 Celsius! Manitoba is amazing and so are the people.

I crunched some #NHLJets attendance numbers. Last season average after first 9 home games: 11,874 (0 sellouts, smallest crowd 11,136) This season average after first 9 home games; 13,764 (2 sellouts, smallest crowd 12,912). Nearly 2,000 per game jump year-over-year so far.

@_jhope1923 @JhanHky I was wondering about Winnipeg and who primarily played RW with Scheifele. Was it Wheeler or Little. Not to discredit Little but he peaked at 27a when Laine was there. I think both Suzuki and Dach should surpass that.

A reason for optimism: When assessing Patrik Laine's past production, take a look at who his centers were. For the most part few, if any, of them had the playmaking skills of Kirby Dach or Nick Suzuki. He still averaged 35 goals per 82 games. #Habs
