I spent the day yesterday getting ready. Went into town and bought a battery charger for the AGM battery for the zero turn. Put together the new pressure washer and got the new box blade and tractor ready to go. Today I woke up looked out the window and it's snowing. 🙄

TLDR: 1) 90% of heart attacks should never happen 2) CT angiograms reveal your risk 3) Insulin resistance is the biggest driver 4) The system makes money on heart disease 5) 60-70% of BP cases don't need pills 6) Visceral fat increases your risk of heart disease 7) Mental health is heart health 8) Sleep apnea is a known cardiac risk factor

A small town in Michigan voted against a massive Data Center but the developers are moving ahead with the project anyway Your vote literally doesn’t even matter, they’re just going to do whatever they want It’s a huge $16 billion project for OpenAI and Oracle. Last September, Saline Township board members voted 4 to 1 against allowing a proposal for an AI data center to proceed The land has been zoned agricultural for decades, even hundreds of years. They didn't want it to become anything industrial Now 575 acres of farmland are being rezoned for the data center. The full campus footprint described as up to 21 million square feet. It’s one of the largest construction projects in Michigan history Here’s what happened - Related Digital (the developer) proposed rezoning agricultural land - September 2025: Saline Township Planning Commission and Board voted against it - Just 2 days later: Related Digital sued for “exclusionary zoning” - Township settled quickly because they were advised they couldn’t afford the ongoing lawsuit against these tech giants The plant will use the equivalent energy of 1 million homes Apparently energy usage and climate change aren’t a problem anymore. Funny how that works…. Just a couple years ago we were told not to use our air conditionings because we’d destroy the planet

How Microplastics Are Secretly Destroying Your Heart Health Microplastics aren't just an environmental problem; they're now being found inside arterial plaque blocking your heart and neck arteries. Studies show that 80% of plaque samples contained microplastics, and higher levels directly predicted worse health outcomes over the next 10 years. This is one of the most important things you need to know about protecting your heart.  #Microplastics #HeartHealth #CardiovascularHealth #ToxinFree #HealthAwareness

Pretty cool study. Adding a protein bar (180 cals, 20g protein) didn’t reduce subsequent energy intake and just added calories, causing fat gain.
Carlos A. Monteiro@CMonteiro_USP

A crossover trial on protein-rich bars—an iconic UPF marketed for weight loss, with a global market nearing US$5 billion—found that adding one bar (180 kcal) to the usual diet for 7 days increased daily energy intake (by 10%) and body fat (3% in 7 days)🙀. #s0035" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">sciencedirect.com/science/articl…

This company in the last 20 years destroyed independent small (under 2 mil a year) family farmers with their predatory selling tactics. I was one of them. they do this by controlling the prices for conventional and organic berries by flooding the markets and giving price breaks to stores to only carry theirs cutting out the smaller producers. If anyone wants to seriously go against this company, I am more than happy to help

Children living near Driscoll's strawberry farms have a 38% higher childhood cancer rate than average. But Driscoll's can't be sued for any of it. They don't own a single farm, grow a single berry or apply an ounce of pesticides themselves They are a genetics and marketing company making $3 billion a year, licensing plant patents to over 700 farms and taking a cut. Their president said it himself: "Driscoll's is not involved in the fruit farming" Researchers identified 13 pesticides linked to childhood cancer when sprayed within 2.5 miles of a home. 98.5% of those leukemia-linked pesticides were applied in Watsonville, California (Driscoll's main strawberry operation). - Schools sit just yards from the fields - 41,000 lbs of pesticides applied within 1 sq mi of an elementary school - Pesticides linger in the air for up to 72 hours Driscoll's is currently #1 strawberry in the U.S. Check for pesticide testing on the Oasis app

This paper changed how I think about my own cardiac event. Nick Norwitz carried LDL cholesterol of 700 for seven years. Zero plaque. Zero coronary artery disease. My LDL was 110 when I had my heart attack at 52. Same molecule. Opposite outcomes. The difference was the metabolic environment underneath. Nick is doing amazing things by sharing his personal health info. We should all do the same in the hope that we can learn from our own personal experiences and that no number defines who we are. The science is never settled and will continue to seek the truth. ❤️ Read the full paper. It matters.

@markkaplan20 @KetoSimple Thanks Mark - mind linking the paper or post next time. It helps. Appreciate the support. Sorry about your MI (similar happened to my dad in his 40s) and sincerely appreciate your curiosity. We do need better answers.

Farmers need strong domestic markets that will help support long-term farm viability & grow rural communities. Year-round E15 is a win for farmers & consumers. E15 sales could increase demand for corn by up to 2.4B bushels a year & save drivers 10-30¢ per gallon at the pump.

We live in a country that is so rich, we will destroy hundreds of working mopeds, scooters, and dirt bikes just to prove a point. Could've sold them, re-used them somehow, but instead we turn them into scrap metal with taxpayer dollars. Insanity.
