Here is a small study I did during lockdowns, as I found myself isolated at home. A hacked analogue community beacon extends the space of my house out into my neighbourhood creating a decentralised network. Really resonated after episode of @NoteToSelf re future of silicon valley

@modernVR Interestingly no one purchasing an Apple product with LiDAR scanner is fully briefed exactly on what data it's going to collect and how it will be interfacing with the external world... So there is the answer I guess. Scary.

Apple Glass in public. Will there be a LED icon to show people in your environment that Apple is recording? Or is there no need for them to worry, because the Lidar scanner guarantees anonymity?
