@malmess13 A4 - my next step is to practice all of these strategies with staff…they are learners, too. What works well for young ppl works well for us adults too. I’m thinking of ways to improve PD sessions.

How often do utilize thin slicing sequencing vs. low floor/high ceiling tasks? It seems as though through thin slicing you have an opportunity to "cover" a large amount of material at once. Do you then go back and dig deeper through rich tasks? #octmchat

A2: 2nd grade measurement- they are expected to measure an object twice with 2 different units; maybe each time one measurement tool stays the same and the other changes and you build to more complex lengths #octmchat

@pgliljedahl I love how you say feeling in the moment. The concepts of knowledge mobility and flow have changed the way I look at classrooms while students are working and conversing. What I observe, how I observe, what stands out, etc. has been shaped by those two concepts! #octmchat
