HM Shri @AmitShah Ji slams the opposition for their double standards in the Lok Sabha. He highlights the Waqf Land Grab in Karnataka involving senior Congress leaders as detailed in the Anwar Manipaddy Report, as well as the unilateral claims of 15,000 acres of farmers' land in Vijayapura. The same Congress Party, which handed 123 properties in Lutyens Delhi to Waqf Board just before the 2014 elections to cater to its votebank, is today opposing the #WaqfAmendmentBill, which will bring professional management of Waqf properties and transparency in Waqf Boards.

In Karnataka, the Waqf Board has extended its claims even over Anubhava Mantapa, regarded as the first Parliament of spiritual democracy, established in the 12th century by the revered social reformer Basavanna. They have also laid claims on 15,000 acres of land belonging to poor farmers in Vijayapura as well as ASI protected monuments.
