Bis heute hat kein arabischer Soldaten in den Krieg gegen Iran eingegriffen, obwohl der Iran diese Staaten beschossen hat. Asiatische Staaten sind besonders vom Stopp der Handelsroute betroffen - kein asiatisches Land wird aufgefordert einzugreifen oder schickt Soldaten. Russland, das Iran dabei unterstützt Amerikaner zu töten, kriegt Sanktionserleichterung. Nur - und ausschließlich - Europa wird attackiert fürs "Nichtstun". Und ihr glaubt, das war nicht exakt so geplant bzw. einkalkuliert, um eine NATO-Auflösung (zumindest rhetorisch) voranzutreiben?

It is crazy how few people know this: Russia now occupies less Ukrainian land than it did one month into the full-scale invasion four years ago

Europe begged America to help it out by investing massively in the Ukraine war but now says the Iran war and open seas are not Europe’s problem. This is why U.S. involvement in NATO will be downgraded. Very short-sighted of Europe.

The speed at which Europe is separating itself from the US is unprecedented. I doubt Trump has understood the trading impact this is going to have across the board for the US economy. Most Americans simply do not understand how deeply their economy and income is linked to the EU

Trump threatens to quit NATO because allies won’t join his war on Iran. Most of NATO’s other 31 members are quietly thinking: fine by us. Because what exactly do we share with Trump’s America right now? This is a country that threatened to annex a NATO ally’s territory and called its biggest trade partner an enemy. Abandoned Ukraine to save face with Putin. Imposed tariffs on the people it calls friends. Declared ideological war on European values. And now wants NATO to fight Israel’s battles in the Middle East. Trump’s America does not believe in alliances. It believes in leverage. It does not believe in rules. It believes in deals. It does not believe in the liberal order it built. It is actively dismantling it. NATO was never built for this. It was built on the assumption that the biggest threat came from outside the alliance. NATO’s 31 members will ‘have to reexamine’ whether they can still afford to have the USA as a partner. Let’s be honest about what is happening. The United States, under Trump, is actively supporting Russia. Blocking weapons to Ukraine. Pushing for a peace deal that rewards Moscow. Calling Putin a partner. Washington’s National Security Strategy no longer even identifies Russia as a threat. Russia is the only reason NATO exists. It has always been the only reason. And Washington is now on Russia’s side. So the question is not whether NATO can survive without America. The question is whether NATO can survive with it. And America has already started leaving. Rubio skipped the NATO foreign ministers meeting in December. Hegseth skipped the defense ministers meeting in February. Two top-level meetings in a row. It is rare for a US administration to miss even one.  They are not forgetting to show up. They are choosing not to. NATO noticed. NATO kept meeting. NATO kept working. Macron said it anyway. “No intimidation or threat will influence us, neither in Ukraine, nor in Greenland, nor anywhere else in the world.”  Sweden’s Prime Minister was blunter. “We will not allow ourselves to be blackmailed.” Good. Because NATO does not need permission. Thirty-one nations. Nearly a billion people. The world’s largest collective economy. NATO militaries hardened by four years of watching Russia bleed itself dry on NATO’s eastern doorstep. And here is what Today it is not the Russia of 2022. That Russia is gone.
