Just like that, while working full-time for Dolby Labs, last year she finished her Phd in Music Technology with a ground breaking research in Translating Indian notations to western staff. And she’s achieve all this with great balance, grace and panache! The engineering team at Dolby that Purva is a part of, was recognized with an Academy Award at the Technical Oscars 2024 for creation of the Dolby Atmos Cinema Sound System. Have been writing about this for over a decade now... 1. There is an urgent need for a new rail corridor between #Mumbai and #Pune (current corridor is way over capacity and tough to widen). The new corridor should support RRTS like semi-high speed trains with speeds of 180-200 kmph. Intercity trains with 30-60 min frequency should run on this corridor. Covering the intercity distance in under 2 hours. 2. Similarly, the HSR (Bullet Train) from Ahmedabad to Mumbai needs to be expanded to Pune (and eventually to Hyderabad and Bengaluru). Land acquisition for both will be difficult and expensive - but ABSOLUTELY necessary for the connectivity of India's top economic zone - the Mumbai-Pune region. Underground, elevated stretches will reduce some land acquisition challenges as well. Both 1 and 2 corridors should pass through Navi Mumbai (and the Navi Mumbai Airport Complex). #Railway2024 @AshwiniVaishnaw @Dev_Fadnavis @AjitPawarSpeaks @mieknathshinde @narendramodi

Regrettably, the reports for the evening peak hours are not favorable. I will be taking updates from the local traffic cops and senior officers, & review reasons behind the congestion. The team and I are going to keep monitoring the routes, till we find an optimal solution.
