So, my son’s school have had “the call” and Ofsted will be in school tomorrow and Wednesday. As a result all of the “nice things” planned for tomorrow and Weds have been “put on hold” I am beyond fuming! I actually HATE @ofsted #Ofsted #Education #School #Teachers #Teaching

Do people not realise that the reason they need a car to get their shopping at a supermarket is because supermarkets have killed off the local shops that you used to be able to walk to because people now drive to supermarkets to get their shopping?

@leeroyjones73 It's largely because of changing work patterns. Women go to work, where previously they tended to be housewives. Nobody goes to the shops daily for a handful of fresh food. Now you load up for the week.

@AcademicMrT No, thank you. A religion where they have child marriage, and an appaling record on abuse towards women is not something I want taught to my grandson.

My grandson came home yesterday and told his mum that they had a lesson on muslims, and their religion in school that day. Today, my family decided that as Christians, catholics, and with Jewish relatives as well as women's rights activists aplenty within our family, this was not appropriate, needed, or wanted. Monday, the head teacher will have a complaint she never imagined, she will never forget and will never wish repeated.

I've driven up the A14 and A1 today. The rubbish and litter in the grass verges along these roads is horrendous. I've never seen it so bad. What's wrong with people in this country? No pride, no sense of right or wrong. Lazy, dirty scruffs. Does it really hurt you to keep your rubbish with you and put it in a bin at your destination?🧐

This is ridiculous. Why doesn’t the driver just get out of the car and walk without needing to be rescued with a rope? So much unnecessary drama going on here. And a waste of time for the fire and rescue service.

@Gypsypup13 Phone your council & ask for another bin for them. Might cost £30 or £40, but I'd happily pay that for a neighbour in the same predicament. Just one of those things easily solved, might cost a couple of quid, but value for money in terms of hassle free.

Older couple in flat next door need carers as they're both housebound. This is how their incontinence products are allowed to be left in a communal garden. This isn't their fault. Its the dire need for adequate care homes for couples to remain together. The systems broken

Just look at the state of these walls in Oxford Circus tube station. Dank, dripping and filthy. Oxford Circus is one of the most famous locations in the WORLD .. and yet this is how tourists see it: Sadiq Khan @MayorofLondon and @TfL should hang their heads in shame 😱 👎 🚆 ..

@mike56200 Ive just cleaned 2 drains at the bottom of a very steep road. Builders at the top of the hill had left a big bag of sand that had split open on side of road so when it rained heavily the sand was washed down the hill and blocked both drains.

Spotted this solid mud blocked drain today. Meant to take a day off to watch Olympics perhaps go for a walk. But spotted this while quickly cleaning the local bus stop. This will help with all the rain running down the hill here
