Please retweet, HELP | Can you help #Hereford and #Worcester Animal Rescue find a home for Barnaby🐶 Barnaby - Mixed breed - Approximately 12 - 18 months. Handsome Barnaby is an unclaimed stray, no, we have no idea how either! On arrival, he was incredibly scared, very matted and showed signs of a young dog that’s had very little socialisation. Yet through all of this, he has been absolutely golden, he has bonded very quickly and is now like a second skin to those that he trusts. He travels well and behaved impeccably at the vets last week, whenever he is unsure of a situation or gets scared he just freezes and submits, looking to his human for reassurance and guidance. There is no definite answer on what breed/s he is, although he definitely has a firm resemblance to a Pekingese and also a Cavalier King Charles. He has also been mistaken for a mini Newfoundland! He is not a tiny breed, he has long legs and roughly the size of an average cocker spaniel. Now that Barnaby has been groomed he looks stunning, beautiful shiny black fur and sparkly eyes to match. It is possible that Barnaby may be able to live with another compatible dog, he has not been cat tested. As he’s insecure Hereford & Worcester Animal Rescue feel that he needs a lifestyle where he has a lot of human companionship, he’s already showing signs of separation anxiety so would definitely benefit from gradual introductions to being left alone. Any children living within the home would need to be 8 years +.
