1/ This chart has been making the rounds lately, and since I am an American and have both worked in a mental hospital and been a criminal defense lawyer, I have opinions. The idea that insane people belong in institutions came under 2-pronged attack in the 1950s and 1960s.

This is Diana. She was only 7. Russia murdered her today 🕯 Despite the doctors’ efforts, they could not save her. Diana was brought to the hospital with severe facial injuries. Her heart stopped multiple times during resuscitation, and at 11:15, doctors pronounced her dead.

So far, the ICE gang has shot & killed an unarmed man & lied about the circumstances; shot a woman 5 times for obstructing their vehicle; roughed up elderly women and zip-tied small children; shot a clergyman in the face with a pepper ball; marched through downtown Chicago, masked and armed. And they're NOT going after the "worst of the worse," as promised. Most of the people they're snagging have clean records. Some are citizens. To be clear: this is NOT making Chicago safer. It's state-sponsored mayhem; dangerous political theater calculated to provoke.

The S&P 500 has averaged ~10–11% annual returns over that time. His net worth is estimated at ~$2–3B, meaning his business ventures underperformed the market.

If he just invested in the stock market in a general S&P 500 stock he would be infinity richer than he is today. Dont believe me? Look it up and do the math. Think about that?
