నరేంద్ర మోదీ సారథ్యంలోని కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం తాజాగా తీసుకున్న పెట్రోల్, డీజిల్ ధరల పెంపు నిర్ణయం ఏ మాత్రం సమర్థనీయం కాదు. ఈ నిర్ణయం అనేక రంగాల పై వ్యతిరేక ప్రభావం చూపుతుంది. నిత్యావసరాల ధరలు పెరిగి సామాన్యుల పాలిట పిడుగుపాటు అవుతుంది. మోదీ ప్రభుత్వ అసమర్థ పాలన, అనాలోచిత విధానాల కారణంగా దేశ ఆర్ధిక వ్యవస్థ కుదేలైంది. ఆత్మ నిర్భర్ కేవలం ఓట్లు రాల్చే నినాదమే తప్ప… ఫలితాలు తెచ్చిన పాలసీ కాదు అన్నది తేలిపోయింది. చిన్న, మధ్య తరహా పరిశ్రమలు దెబ్బతిన్నాయి. యువత ఉపాధికి గ్యారెంటీ లేని పరిస్థితి దాపురించింది. రైతుల ఆదాయాలు రెట్టింపు చేస్తామన్న హామీ ఒట్టి మాటగా మిగిలింది. గత పదేళ్లుగా రూపాయి విలువ పతనమవుతూ వస్తోంది. ఇప్పుడు ఆ పతనం పరాకాష్ఠకు చేరింది. ఈ పరిస్థితుల్లో ఇరాన్ - ఇజ్రాయిల్ యుద్ధాన్ని సాకుగా చూపి పెట్రోల్, డీజిల్ రేట్లను పెంచడం సామాన్యుల నడ్డి విరచడమే. ప్రపంచంలో భారత్ ను మూడో అతిపెద్ద ఆర్థిక వ్యవస్థగా నిలిపామని ఘనంగా ప్రకటించుకుంటున్న మోదీ ప్రభుత్వం ఈ నిర్ణయాన్ని ఎలా సమర్థించుకుంటుంది!? ఇటీవల జరిగిన నాలుగు రాష్ట్రాలు, ఒక కేంద్ర పాలిత ప్రాంత ఎన్నికలకు ముందు మోదీ ప్రభుత్వం “పెట్రోలియం ఉత్పత్తుల ధరలు పెంచం” అని పదే పదే ప్రకటించింది. ఫలితాలు వచ్చి పది రోజులు కూడా గడవకముందే రూ.3 కు పైగా ధరలు పెంచడం ప్రజల నమ్మకాన్ని వంచించడమే. కేవలం ఓట్ల కోసం, ఎన్నికల్లో విజయం కోసం మోదీ అబద్ధాలు చెబుతారని ప్రజలు భావిస్తున్నారు. ఇది విశ్వాస ఘాతుకం అవుతుంది. కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం పెంచిన పెట్రోలు, డీజిల్ ధరలను తక్షణం ఉపసంహరించుకోవాలని డిమాండ్ చేస్తున్నాను.
