Today, the entire state of Ohio honored Officer Phillip Wagner of the Lorain Police Department, a devoted husband, father, and selfless public servant who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to his community. May we never forget to honor those who put service above self. May God watch over his family.

In honor of Lorain Police Officer Phillip Wagner, flags are at half-staff throughout Lorain County, at Ohio Statehouse, Riffe Center, and Rhodes Tower in Columbus. This order will remain in effect until sunset on the day of his funeral.
