Mappls made in India but the voice assistant accent is so heavy than even Google maps assistant. @mappls when are you planning to change that to an Indian accent so that I can start using it? That accent is so annoying.

Bought a new Android phone for my younger sister a few days ago, and it came with a pre-installed app called " MAPPLS " by #MAPMYINDIA ( C.E Info Systems ) & after using it , I found it surprisingly good😅. Then today, while ordering from Amazon Now, I noticed they're using #MAPMYINDIA 's Maps as well. More reasons to use Google map over Mappls. Mappls should have done this before Google. But our desi navigation app is already very slow in updating the features.

A product should be judged by its quality and performance, not by whether it is Indian or from another country. People want a good product, not just an Indian label on it.

2 points: 1. Network effect favors GMaps coz a) Default app in Android b) Word of mouth: Maps = GMaps 2. Apple Maps is powered by @MapmyIndia and from personal experience I can confirm, it works far better than Gmaps in India Try @amitbehalll
