I'm noticing a lot of articles online saying, because of the petrol hike, people should switch over to electric vehicles and how affordable it's become to own one. None of these articles however, mention that the electricity price is also going to increase...by a lot.

@RobinAdamsZA Everytime we speak about the petrol price going up here at work, management suddenly gets selectively deaf. I know it's not the employer's responsibility of how you get to work, but this will have a ripple effect with food prices also increasing.

Honest question: Have employers given any thought to allowing staff to work remotely - or even part of the week online, to migitate the massive spike in fuel costs?

@RobinAdamsZA Number 2 and 7 is poorly lacking with some Cape Town radio stations. They also refuse to evolve...same things, just on different days. I barely listen to radio anymore because I'm either irritated with the host, the topic or the music they play.
