@Chriss6049 @f4micom All you get as a 3rd party is <16 16+ 18+ 21+. As a teen it could be used to track you yes, but that’s about it. And for 16-18 we have laws that prevent tracking

@marajobsession @f4micom Ok, so it sends my age range. But this is still personal information that can be used to identify or track me. After all, age is not static. The services receiving this info will know when my age range changes and thus can infer real age etc…

@neolatyno I was also concerned so for the whole development time I have been inspecting the source code and it’s not; all the identity verification happens on device and stays there, but I do agree with you that this should be a responsibility of the parent and not of everyone else.

@neolatyno I actually prefer this to any other option, this is the most privacy preserving option we could have. It’s fully state developed and using open source verifiable components. The only information the 3rd party gets is your age range ( <16, >16 >18 and >21)

I don’t like this ONE bit. It is for parents to raise their children so why do i have to give out my data in order for children not to access apps? Preventing them should be the parents’ responsibility, not mine through the giving up of my privacy to third parties.
