@jk_rowling The fact that you still have these misinformed tweets up after Imane Khelif is confirmed to be female, from birth (which according to you is the only way to be a woman), is the perfect example of ignorance. Your rules for existence on this earth make you look confused.

The idea that those objecting to a male punching a female in the name of sport are objecting because they believe Khelif to be ‘trans’ is a joke. We object because we saw a male punching a female.

@mkryst70 @ArleneDickinson I disagree here - if you can simply pay for verification and not be held to any sort of standards, it’s a dangerous advantage to give some users. It’s not the truth across the board, but lots of unkind people are using verification to get attention.

I don't see any difference between verified or unverified users. If anything, there are a lot more vicious trolls that don't get verified. Rules about behavior still apply to check-marked individuals. Someone paying for verification will take their usership a lot more seriously.

@mkryst70 @ArleneDickinson I agree. I just wish the ways in which people exchanged ideas, disagreed or agreed, was in a more constructive manner. There is so much hate on here and unfortunately a lot of people with harsh words are buying blue checkmarks and amplifying hate vs. conversation.

Do you know why the disease (cancer) and the star sign (cancer) share a name? Neither does anyone else! Hippocrates named cancer after crabs but he never said why, setting humanity up for thousands of years of debate about what the fuck he was thinking.
