You cannot argue or debate with a socialist. Their brains simply disregard reason. If someone were able to reason, even at a 7-year-old's level, they would not be socialist.

@NadiaWhittomeMP Stop telling us: “Trans women are real women”: they aren’t. “Misgendering is violence”: it isn’t. “Trans women should be allowed in women’s spaces, their sports, their private spaces, and their prisons”: they shouldn’t.

No, it shouldn’t. Schools don’t (and teachers legally can’t) teach students to favour a political party or ideology, it teaches them that there are many different ideologies and political views. Look at the US, kids don’t learn about facism and now their country has become that

I didn't want to interrupt everybody's fun laughing at the NDP convention. But enough time has passed to point out: Carney and the Liberal Party actually implement that same wacky ideology through public policy every day. Instead of "equity cards," they have "equity employment."

Critical Race Theory evolved out of Critical Theory, which began in the 1950s in the civil rights era. It started as a critique of the US justice system, and it rejected the concept of Equal Application of the Law. CRT broadened the scope of CT to encompass all of societies institutions and norms. Add in post-modernist skepticism, and introduce the concepts of intersectional oppression, and you have the crux of every hot-button topic today. Again, give this your best shot. You won’t though: none of you so-called “progressives” can defend a socio-economic system that uses group identity and historical discrimination, (real or imagined), as a basis for society today: beyond superficial calls to “empathy” and “anti-hate”. In fact, the tenets of “DIE” are literally antithetical to the tenets of liberalism: they were produced specifically to argue AGAINST liberalism.

Equity IS a Marxist concept. “DIE” concepts are neo-Marxist: this cannot be debated. You can debate the concepts against the tenets of liberalism or any other ism, but you cannot debate its roots. I dare you to argue this with me. The founders of “DIE”, which is Critical Theory praxis, were Marxist: by their own admission. Derrick Bell was an avowed Marxist. If you don’t know who Derrick Bell is, this conversation is over your head.

The feudal system is similar to “equity” principles: both based upon assumptions based upon group identity. Feudal systems had a hierarchy based upon birthright and ancestry. It assumed the common citizen was incapable of positions of authority and land ownership: it maintained a system of predictable group outcomes. Equity systems seek to force group outcomes equally: it assumes those groups at the top of the perceived hierarchy are there due to exploitation, and seeks to overturn them….. Both group based.

In places where “equity” has been implemented it has led to chaos, not benefit. Assigning characteristics to groups, assigning individuals into groups based upon immutable and self-declared categories, then assigning a hierarchy of these groups with one group as the oppressor over all is exactly what the USSR, China, N Korea did/do. Tell me how this is beneficial

@LekhtNaya Conviction rate of Palestinians (non-citizens) in Israeli military court is >99% compared to Jewish citizens <2% The world is not stupid, Israel will murder Palestinians who have every fucking single right to defend themselves against their colonizers and Jewish terrorists.

Nothing reveals the truth quite like an unintended admission. Critics of the death-penalty law passed in the Knesset are busy calling it “racist,” insisting it targets Palestinians. But the law itself is clear: it applies to terrorists who carry out murderous attacks. It names an act, not a people. The question writes itself: who made the leap from “terrorist” to “Palestinian”? Not the law. The critics. In trying to expose prejudice, they’ve exposed their own. A law about behavior becomes, in their reading, a law about identity, which tells you far more about their assumptions than about the text. 🫢 dw.com/en/israel-pass…

@AraquelBloss @LekhtNaya Yeah I see a lot of live streams. This nonsense of “occupied people have a right to resist by international law” BS gets old after a while. Gaza has been offered a state THREE TIMES in the past 80 years. They’ve turned it down each time.

@Hedzer15 @LekhtNaya You know the world sees the livestreams right? We see how illegal Jewish occupiers in the West Bank shoot men and then cars with Jewish drivers block the ambulances to ensure their death. We see so much. The gig is up on a truly sick, sick society.

@Hedzer15 @AraquelBloss @LekhtNaya No. It's because israelis are tried in civil courts, not held indefinitely, without charge, in military detention centres. Israel defines all acts of resistance as 'terrorism' when in fact it is the Palestinians absolute legal right to resist.
