TypeScript is considering deprecating one of my least favourite aspects of enums in TS 6.0: If you declare two enums (or namespaces) in the same file with the same name, their properties will merge - it's called declaration merging. Good riddance.

Here's my favourite method for getting Go/Zig/Rust-like errors in TS. It's by returning custom errors from functions. - Shows right in the return type - Easy checking with instanceof - No deps required
