@Clip_Station_ He lied, he claimed he bought the house for her, while he did not, as he distrusted her and because of that he put it in his own name. So he bought that house for himself not for her as he was not planning to git it to her, but just to use it as bait to keep her dependent on him.

He surprised her with a new house... But she got upset when she found out it wasn't in her name.
