The Network State is now #18 on Kindle. If we get to #10, we'll ship a paperback. If we get to #5, we'll do Audible. And if we get to #1 worldwide? We'll issue a commemorative NFT. To get it, reply to this thread with your preorder screenshot & ENS name. amazon.com/dp/B09VPKZR3G

@cookiewhirls Surely you have the CEo fo Timpsons...... he does amazing stuff for his staff. @manojvarsani also did amazing things to help connect charities, the NHS and schools with the UK's available stock of PPC during Covid.

‘I don’t know what the future holds, but I know who holds it.’ This quote from #Oprah magistrally merges together self-empowerment and accountability. @farnamstreet's newsletter really is brain food

Loved @mkonnikova's "The Biggest Bluff". The narrative is always rational and level headed and yet it's thrilling at the same time: learning, mistakes, excitement, colourful characters, even some ugliness from the dark side of gambling. What a read

Enjoying my usual session of thinking triggered by @farnamstreet. "A person’s success in life is determined by having a high minimum, not a high maximum. If you can do something really well but there are other things at which you’re failing, the latter will hold you back."

⚙️ During lockdown, we need to keep supply chains running. Warehouse operatives are a vital part of logistics. But the UK doesn’t have enough. 15 homeless people have used Beam to become #warehouse operatives. Help us fund more. #FundAFuture #keyworkers #homeless #coronavirus

Maybe it's a matter of sequence. Negative thinking is key to scrupulous preparation, positive thinking is the boost we need on the midst of execution and neutral thinking is the best way to deal with outcomes

"It’s puzzling to me that so many self-help gurus urge people to visualize victory, and stop there." I'm thoroughly enjoying this quote and much more from @Cmdr_Hadfield "An astronaut's guide to life on earth". Yet, I'm struggling to embrace negative thinking

My preference still is for @TrevorMoawad's neutral thinking, as I love how it helps builds a positive noise:signal ratio. A life without positive thinking would be a pretty dry affair though, so what gives?
