#BREAKING The Council of the European Union announced that it has extended sanctions imposed on Iran on the pretext of what it called "serious violations of human rights" until April 13, 2027.
🇮🇱 #Israele – La Knesset ha approvato in lettura finale la legge che introduce la pena di morte per atti di terrorismo: 62 voti a favore, 48 contrari. Il premier Benyamin #Netanyahu ha votato a favore; un partito ultraortodosso di coalizione si è opposto; Avigdor #Lieberman ha sostenuto la norma. Il testo stabilisce che è passibile di condanna a morte "chi causa intenzionalmente la morte di una persona nell'ambito di un atto di terrorismo, con l'intento di negare l'esistenza dello Stato di Israele" e prevede che il tribunale possa convertire la pena in ergastolo e imporre la pena capitale anche se non richiesta dall'accusa e senza necessità di unanimità tra i giudici.
