Congrats to Marc Savard on his return to the stage, at Nathan Burton Theater at Flyover on the Strip. The comic/hypnotist performed for 13 years at V Theater at Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood, was halted by the pandemic, came back for a minute, then hit the cruise ships. @JasonGregor Another main point is money. Pre-season games aren’t televised. Regular season games are.

I'd look at it this way. Only four preseason games now. Before teams played 88 total games (some 89-90) with 82 reg season and 6-8 preseason. Now will be total of 88 with 84 reg season. Better quality games than preseason which first few were a waste.

FLA fully deserving of the Cup. They were the better team. More disciplined. Better special teams. Better goaltending. Better 5x5 scoring. Set the tone the past five past games. Support puck very well, go to the net regularly to create screens and havoc. Very few turnovers.

@oilersdailyy I would think that since we are up 2-1, don’t play Ek. If we win Game 4, he doesn’t go in at all. Why risk it? Let him heal until we need him. Let RV slot in for game 4.

have to think we are gonna see one of arvidsson/skinner back in the lineup next game due to this. or, if ekholm is healthy, definitely could see the team go 11-7.

I’m not sure the Oilers and Stars hate each other enough. The Dallas Stars ruined my childhood in round 1 every year.

@Logan35branden they don't fly overnight. Flight is maybe four hours. They will leave Dallas at 11 a.m. and be home in EDM by 3 p.m. as they gain an hour of time. They don't have to do morning skate on Sunday. I don't see why it is so taxing.

EDM record since 2020 (including playoffs): 305-181-37 with .583W% and .618P%. They've played 50 matinee games (4 p.m. local start time or earlier). They're 28-16-6 with .560W% and .620P%. They are far from awful in the afternoon. #Game3

@SinBinVegas For sure a trip and a missed call, no doubt. Not an intentional dirty play though. RV trying to reach in and touch the puck and McNabb’s stride is wide and w/ foot forward results in a can opener. Unfortunate play, hope he’s back next game, but it didn’t look promising.
