Here’s a heat map of the 2024 Trump-Harris election results. Somehow the Red parts of the State are in the super minority in both Chambers and hold only 3 congressional seats. Illinois legislative districts are completely gamed. We shouid be the last State to lecture Texas or any place else about how to draw fair district lines.

There was no reason to sign this now. Unlike in Dallas (where he wouldve been eligible for more money), the Lakers couldn't pay him more than any other team.
If he waited a year, he would've got the same money, but had more leverage/options.

If Luka wants to be a Laker, he could've signed next summer.
But there was no reason to sign NOW.
He did them a HUGE favor by committing early.
