TanStack already uses Vite 8 so I've put it on hold until we can update to that in Maizzle, too.

Been working on this damned CodeBlock component that uses Shiki to highlight code in Maizzle for a few hours. Almost got it working, have some entity and indentation issues left to fix🙈

@cossssmin This is awesome 😍 I'll try put the new beta version as a Vite plugin with Vue templating. It will replace my home grown Vue Maizzle setup. Thank you for putting in the effort and the pre-release!

@AmanVirk1 Yes, bring it to the framework 🤝 maybe as an opt-in if people don't want it by default

Add it to the framework core? - Supports sampling - Slow and errored requests are always logged - Filter requests by URI pattern - Always log requests by URI pattern

Having a blast rewriting Maizzle as a Vite plugin. Got working: Vue SFC templating w/ auto-imported composables and components, auto-generated types, Tailwind CSS 4, dev server with HMR, basic hooks and transformers, basic build system, new CLI. Frameworks as Vite plugins 👏

@code_barbarian Same here 😃 I often know "I wrote tutorial about X, let's check that again" and go back reading it. Very helpful to have a knowledge base at hand

Great blog post I keep referring back to year after year for "how do I make npm install from a github branch for testing" The act of writing is often for the author's benefit, not just the reader's 😀 thecodebarbarian.com/github-is-my-f…

I tried claude code today and if you think it is great, you should try amp.. Much more responsive, smarter at running commands with timeouts /tail and much easier to steer imho. Harness matters. DX too.

@cossssmin Yes! Awesome to read that 🥳 I'm currently using Maizzle's render function in combination with Vue.js templates to render the HTML of emails. Direct support in the Maizzle framework would be great!

Once we get Mailviews out of early access (this February) I'll have much more time to explore a complete Maizzle rewrite in Vue, including Tailwind CSS 4 support. Vue (with Vite) makes so much sense for templating and the build system, offers fantastic DX and has a great community, super excited about this 🤩
Cosmin Popovici@cossssmin

Testing a Vue/Vite-powered Maizzle today - considering moving to that setup just for the much better templating and build tools, not to mention project maturity and the community. What would you say if Maizzle templates looked like this in the future? Yay or nay?

AI workflows are technically impressive, but there’s a deeper reason people are really amped about AI agents. This isn’t just new tech, it’s new psychology. Until now, very few people have known what it feels like to delegate to total competency. If you manage great people, or lead great teams, you know how it feels to put someone in charge who will get it done, get it done right, and get it done without drama. That kind of delegation is pure joy. Delegating to competency lets you forget about it completely. That’s real leverage. And now anyone can experience that. Everyone can feel it. And it feels fucking great. That’s a big reason why the excitement is real, and fully justified.
