Some of us are smart enough not to be used by bigots who don’t care about women’s sports at all — except for when they can punch down at other people. I support trans athletes. The beauty of sports is that it gives people a sense of belonging. Trans athletes are not a burden on women’s sports.
The people who don’t see female athletes as deserving of equitable treatment and investment is far worse for women’s sports than anything else.
